quote:Hungary: MTVA Calls for Pictures for Eurovision 2019 Performance
Hungary’s Eurovision 2019 performance will feature pictures of fathers from around the world.
Hungarian broadcaster MTVA has made a call for members of the public to send in pictures of their fathers, which will feature in Hungary’s Eurovision 2019 performance. Joci Pápai will sing “Az én apám”, which translates to “My Father” on the stage in Tel Aviv in May. MTVA will select the pictures they would like to feature in the performance.
Anyone can submit a picture to the broadcaster via email@example.com by March 31st. The sender must also include their name, email address and phone number in the message. More information can be found here.
This project is similar to that of Malta in 2014, in which TVM featured over 200 selfies on the LED background.
This year Hungary will be represented by Joci Pápai. Selected after winning A Dal this year, Joci is no stranger to the competition, having represented his country at the 2017 contest with “Origo”, placing 8th in the final. In May he returns to the contest with his song “Az én apám”.
