Het is onduidelijk als welk woord je "fitna" moet vertalen, maar uit de context kun je halen dat het ongeloof betekend. Later in de zin staat namelijk: "And religion is all for Allah".

Quran (8:59-60) - "And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy."'

Quran (9:5) - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them."

Vertaling van sommige woorden:
People of the Book = Joden en Christenen, soms vallen Samaritanen er ook onder.
Jizya = Belasting die niet-moslims die vroeger in moslimlanden woonden moesten betalen. Een voorbeeld waren de niet-moslims die in Spanje woonden toen het land bezet was door de Moren. Zij moesten de jizya (ongelovigentaks/belasting) betalen omdat ze geen moslim waren. Als ze dat niet hadden gedaan werden ze vermoord, óf ze moesten zich bekeren tot de islam, dat mocht ook nog.

Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"

Quran (9:38-39) - "O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? De vraag was niet dat je moest citeren of je volgens de Koran bepaalde ongelovigen moet doden, vervolgen, bestrijden of vermoorden onder bepaalde omstandigheden.

For sake gast, lees je überhaupt wel je eigen content en eigen reacties. Je gaat al in je eerste citaat de fout in.

Even serieus gast, dit is de definitie van een middeleeuwse opvatting van zelfverdediging
met de ene beperking in de Koran die de ander opvolgt om de gevechten te staken.

Doe je niet voor als kenner als je niet eens begrijpt wat er staat. Stukjes kopiëren van het internet maakt je geen expert.

Over de verzen die je aanhaalt waarin Allah het op zichzelf neemt als persoon in de Koran om de ongelovigen zelf te bestraffen in het hiernamaals om te onderbouwen dat moslims volgens de Koran alle ongelovigen moet doden ga ik maar helemaal niet over beginnen.

Echt jarenlang zie je hier zelfbenoemde kenners die altijd met de zelfde lijstjes komen zonder te weten wat ze nu echt zelf citeren. Je zou toch hopen dat men een keer met iets nieuws, creatievers of origineels komen in plaats van te plukken van voorgekauwde lijstjes op het internet. Wees dan gewoon een vent en zeg gewoon zoals Woelwater 'Geen idee joh, heb me nooit verdiept in die onzin.'
