Voor mijn eerste jaar Engels moet ik mijn droomhuis beschrijven , maar het loopt allemaal niet zo goed. De tekst dat ik geschreven heb leest niet zo vlot

strip gelijk de eerste zin.. begin met:
Picture a beach, surfers are waiting on their boards for the perfect waves in the water and while you drink a cup of coffee, you overlook the beach and the ocean from the hillside. The terrace is an extension of the living and kitchen on the 1st floor. The bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor, there are 4 bedrooms in total with connected bathrooms. The basement is a relaxing area. It houses an in-door movie theater including relaxing chairs, movie art and big size screen.
een grand-floor bestaat niet. Je kunt wel een tussen etage hebben.. dat heet dan een Mezzanine floor.. maar dat is vaker in kantoor/hoogbouw, niet zozeer in huizen...
en ik denk dat je het gewoon over een movie theater hebt in je basement.. dan snapt iedereen dat dat eruit ziet als een bioscoop..
Maareh.. wat een saai huis man.. en dan huisje, wijfje, beestje.. doe eens wat meer fantasie hebben.. en het belangrijkste in een huis is niet je playstation en 50" Plasma TV.. dat zijn accessoires.. ga voor hoe het huis eruit ziet, welke inrichting heb je (modern, contemporary, wit grotesk, klassiek bruin, etc..). Hoe zit de buitenkant eruit.. is het een vierkantje met een driehoekje als dak (NL stijl) of wil je vierkant en modern met zwart.. houtbouw of steen.. of metaal.. weinig glas, veel glas? etc etc etc etc etc..

Hoeveel woorden moeten het worden? Je kan inderdaad kiezen om een en ander in detail te beschrijven.
Je Engelse woordkeuze is juist, maar soms is de volgorde wat apart.

My dream house would be a villa at the beach somewhere in or near Los Angeles. The weather here is usually quite nice the whole year round. This villa would have a living room with a dark table. An obvious choice since that would make it much easier to see the lines of coke my friends and I will be doing.
This living room would also have a large couch, perfect for inviting would-be actresses for some "couch casting". Of course there are HD camera's hidden throughout the house. The production values need to be way up there.
The main bedroom would have to be large. If my future girlfriend and I ever get bored with each other sexually I need to be able to install rigs so we can hang each other from the ceiling using chains and other medieval looking contraptions. I'd also have extra outlets installed for the electric nipple clamps.
The garden is big and will have some palm trees.
This living room would also have a large couch, perfect for inviting would-be actresses for some "couch casting". Of course there are HD camera's hidden throughout the house. The production values need to be way up there.

Maar ik volg een cursus Engels in het avondonderwijs . De meesten die in het eerste jaar starten kunnen bijna tot geen Engels. Ik denk als ik je tekst zou gebruiken dat dat een beetje ongeloofwaardig zou klinken bij mijn leerkracht voor een eerste jaar
kan wel zeker wat voorbeelden ervan gebruiken

They'd skinny dip in my pool that i had custom made.
And i'll have palmtrees placed so we can cool in the shade.
I would also get a big screen to play video games.
And have a home cinema installed to keep entertained.
You have to understand, i dream of this every day.
So for this assignment i expect nothing less then an A.
