I used to be that little guy, the guy in the back room, the guy in the corner, the guy who would quietly put his hands up to answer questions, the guy who would shy away from people and shy away from the whole world.
Growing up, I would always keep to myself quiet. Never voicing my opinions and just living my life on autopilot. One day, I realized as a young man I couldn’t be like this for the rest of my life, because people that are weak-minded and possess mentality go nowhere in life.
Just remember in life, one of the greatest feelings is doing something that people told you, you could never do. We only live once. We’ve got one shot of this life and that’s it. So we might as well do it right. I changed, I decided to do what everyone told me, I couldn’t do. I went to the gym. I started to train. I started eating healthy and this is when I really lived my life.
Just remember, all men die but not all men live. Surround yourself with people that love you, care for you, never put anyone down and just know that the time and tide wait for no man and that you have to follow your dreams. There is nothing easy, the only way around is through. And the difference between the impossible and the possible is between your determination.
Don’t listen to those that belittle you. People told me I couldn’t go to the gym. People told me I’d never get fit or be confident about myself. I went against what others told me and I followed my heart.
If you can drive yourself further once effort gets painful, you will win. This is the purpose of life. To struggle and emerge.
