ISIL Militants Hospitalized in Turkey: Report
Militants of the Takfiri group ISIL, who were injured in the battles taking place in Syria’s border town of Kobani, are hospitalized in Turkey, media reported.
ISIL has been transferring its war casualties in Northern Syria, especially those wounded in the town of Kobani, to Turkish hospitals, Fars News agency quoted local sources in the Syrian town as saying.
“Since Saturday evening, the ISIL terrorists have been transferring a number of their injured members to Turkey through Tal Kania Araban road,” independent local sources in Syria’s Kurdish region told FNA on Monday.
“The Turkish army lit the sky by the help of flares to facilitate this transfer at night,” they added.

ISIS Launches an Attack on Al-Sina’a in Deir Ezzor; SAA Continues Offensive on Sakr Island
Earlier today, the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) attacked the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard at the Al-Sina’a Quarter in Deir Ezzor City, attempting to infiltrate from the east. The attacked was repelled by the 104th Brigade, resulting in the death of 23 militants from ISIS (var. ISIL). Among the dead ISIS fighters was the leader of the Al-Ansar Brigades, Zakaria Al-‘Aboush; he was a former member of Free Syrian Army.
Al-Sina’a is the industrial quarter of Deir Ezzor City that was besieged in late August by ISIS – the attack was repulsed, with the 104th retaking lost ground. Opposition sources reported that ISIS broke through the SAA’s frontline defenses; however, this was denied by a military source in Deir Ezzor.
The 104th Airborne Brigade is on the offensive in Haweeja Sakr (Sakr Island), taking control of another ISIS den located southeast of the SAA’s initial attack. Brigadier General Issam Zahreddine is leading the attack on Sakr Island as his troops aim to build a buffer between ISIS militants and the Old Military Airport District in Deir Ezzor. According to a military source, over 60 ISIS fighters were killed since Saturday night, including a field commander named “’Abdel-Wadood”.

The Kurdish Peoples Protection Units (YPG) fighters have held out against ISIS for more than a month, despite the superiority of the militants’ weapons. ISIS boast cutting edge American and European equipment—including tanks and armored Humvees stolen from Iraqi and Syrian armies—while the Kurds scrape by with little more than Kalashnikovs.
The Peshmerga unit will bring in heavy weapons to reduce this mismatch despite their own shortage of advanced armor-piercing gear on the Iraqi front.
“In our discussion with the Kurds from Syria about which kind of force they need, PYD told us they don’t need manpower, they need firepower,” Hussein said. “So as a result, we reached an agreement with Turkey and the United States to send a small unit from Kurdish Peshmerga here with some heavy weapons so that they can cover the [Syrian Kurdish] fight.”
Aside from US and allied air strikes, this will be the second case of foreign support after Americans airlifted weapons to the beleaguered forces on Monday. The Turkish military has watched the conflict rage on with tanks stationed along its border.
According to Hussein, the KRG Presidency proposed the idea of a corridor for Peshmerga to move from Iraqi Kurdistan through Turkey to Kobane two weeks ago during a series of negotiations between the Americans, the Turks, and the Kurds.
These meetings, most of which were conducted in Ankara and Dohuk, began soon after ISIS first laid siege to Kobane and intensified as the Americans began airstrikes in the area.
But all parties finally agreed on the strategy only days ago.

EU Persists in Supporting Terrorism, Imposes Further Sanctions on Syrian People
Within the framework of their support to terrorism and their immoral siege against the Syrian people who are facing unprecedented takfiri terrorism, countries of the European Union decided yesterday to impose new illegal and non-humanitarian sanctions against the Syrians.
Diplomatic sources announced that the EU foreign ministers, who met in Luxemburg on Monday, decided to “ban exporting jet fuel to Syria, prevent some Syrian ministers and personalities from travelling to Europe and impose sanctions on two Syrian companies.”
The new sanctions are added to similar previous ones imposed by the United States on the Syrian people and led to the worsening of the living conditions of the Syrians as they mainly target the fuel sector.
The European sanctions, which contradict the humanitarian international law, aim to put further pressure on the Syrian government and target the living of the Syrian citizens to force them to give up their steadfast stances in defense of their homeland. The sanctions also provide additional European support, beside weapons and money, to the armed terrorist groups, which the European states call “moderate”, in Syria.
These same “moderate” groups used to show their moderation by targeting schools and residential neighborhoods with suicide bombings and missiles which claimed the lives of thousands of innocent Syrians.
