Vanaf dit moment loopt de telling weer gelijk, dus VIII, IX, X, etc gaan goed.
Voor remakes en ports is Square Enix ook weer de juiste telling gaan gebruiken. Voor GBA verschenen bijvoorbeeld Final Fantasy I en II als combi-release en werden IV, V en VI ook onder het juiste nummer in het Engels uitgebracht.
De scheve telling was dus enkel ten tijde van NES/SNES, nu klopt alles gewoon. Het enige wat anders is nog, is het feit dat Final Fantasy III als 3D-remake is uitgebracht en niet met de originele graphics. Die game is beschikbaar voor Nintendo DS, iOS en Android.
IV heeft zowel het originele uiterlijk (o.a. GBA) als 3D-remake (NDS).
Ik denk dat FFXV potentie heeft om de beste Final Fantasy game te worden, indien het verhaal ook sterk is.

Hoe zit het eigenlijk met degenen die FFXV, toen nog Versus, gepreorderd hebben in 2006?
Die moeten nu een andere console kopen om die game te kunnen spelen, niemand had gedacht dat ie naar de PS4 zou komen, sterker nog de PS3 was nog niet eens overal uit toen deze game werd aangekondigd.
Krijgen die hun geld terug als ze dat zouden willen?
