The operation started when MI intercepted communications between Abu Muhammad Al-Jawlaani and a JN commander north of Yabrood. The JN had decided that the fall of Yabrood and Faleeta was only a matter of a short time resolving to redeploy what rats they had to the North Jordan area as an additional force to the one being prepared by the war criminal, Obama, and his war criminal ape Saudi allies.

The plan was to stealthily move a convoy of flatbeds, vans and trucks carrying weapons and ammunition down from the Qalamoon to Al-’Utayba (about 47 kms) where the force could then swiftly fight its way to the Jordanian border. The Intel the rats had was completely false. Their calculations were based on SAA’s victories in the East Ghouta which, by their reckoning, resulted in new SAA deployments elsewhere in the western part of the country. Wrong.

It appears that the calculations were made by the American terrorist enablers in Al-Mafraq, Jordan, where Abu Muhammad Al-Jawlaani, a dyed-in-the-wool Islamist terrorist freak, was now off the American list of wanted criminals. He probably wishes now that he wasn’t.

I can confirm that SANA was informed about the rat-slaughter-fest at 3:00 a.m. Damascus time after which field commanders were certain that all rats were killed, wounded and accounted for. The scene was not filmed except by SANA and Al-Mayaadeen, the new Arabic language Pan Arab Media source, whose reporting outstrips that of the yellow-mercenary Al-Jazeera for accuracy, fidelity and access to information.

Once the plan to escape the Qalamoon became operational and the convoy was in position to leave, it was tracked every inch of the way until it reached the area between Lake ‘Utayba and the desert town of Al-’Utayba where the SAA triggered the snare and killed 164 rats – dealing a blow so devastating that it will take the J.N. and JI months to recover.

We can confirm that most of the dead foreign terrorists were Saudis and Jordanians. We can also reveal that 2 of the captured and wounded rodents were confessed agents of the Central Intelligence Agency. I cannot tell you that I know their nationality because the source is not authorized to reveal that. However, during interrogations at field hospitals and military infirmaries inside the 22nd Army Brigade base close to the scene, 2 of the vermin were found carrying “damning” evidence of work for a foreign espionage agency. When confronted by seasoned MI interrogators, who one must take very seriously, they revealed their relationship to the CIA.

He has given them security for themselves, their wealth, their churches and the rest of their property in the province of Raqqa: their churches should not be attacked, nor should anything be taken [by force] from them, nor from their domain, nor anything from their wealth, and there should be no compulsion against them in religion, and none of them should be harmed.

He has imposed these conditions on them:

1. That they must not build in their town or the periphery a monastery, church or monk’s hermitage, and must not rebuild what has fallen into disrepair.

2. That they must not show the cross or any of their scriptures in any of the roads or markets of the Muslims and they must not use any means to amplify their voices during their calls to prayers or similarly for the rest of their acts of worship.

3. That they must not make Muslims hear recital of their scriptures or the sounds of their bells, even if they strike them within their churches.

4. That they must not engage in any acts of hostility against the Islamic State, like giving housing to spies and those wanted for a reason by the Islamic State, or whosoever’s brigandery is proven from among the Christians or others, they must not aid such persons in concealing or moving them or other such things. If they know of a conspiracy againt the Muslims, they must inform them about it.

5. That they must not engage in any displays of worship outside the churches.

6. That they must not stop any of the Christians from embracing Islam if he so wishes.

7. That they must respect Islam and Muslims, and not disparage their religion in any way.

8. The Christians must embrace payment of the jizya at every mention upon them: its value is 4 dinars of gold…on the Ahl al-Ghina [the wealthy], and half that value on those of middle income, and half that on the poor among them, on condition that they do not conceal anything from us regarding their state of affairs. And they are to make two payments per year.

9. They are not allowed to bear arms.

10. They are not to deal in selling pork and wine with Muslims or in their markets; and they are not to consume these things publicly- that is, in any public places.

11. They should have their own tombs, as is custom.

12. That they must accept the precepts imposed by the Islamic State like modesty of dress, selling, buying and other things.

So for them is nearness to God and the dhimma of Mohammed, the Prophet and Messnger of God- may God’s peace and blessings be upon him- even as God brings his command: what they have embraced in the conditions outlined in this document.

But if they disagree with anything in this pact, then they have no dhimma, and the Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham will deal with them as it deals with the people of war and stubborn enmity.”

The Syrian Military Intelligence people had planned this ambush for 2 weeks. The plan was to give the rats a perceived opening out of the Qalamoon area through Reema Farms. It was known that the rats would detect the aperture and report it. Such as it was, the chief of the rodent force north of Reema Farms contacted Abu Muhammad Al-Jawlaani’s aide de camp who must have relayed the information to the American terrorist commanders in Al-Mafraq. The plan was set at that point to collect as much fuel as possible to enable the caravan to make the 47 km trip to Al-’Utayba and then to Jordan without attracting attention. The fuel, however, was not enough and the last leg of the operation had to be on foot. In fact, one rat already told an interrogator that it was thought that a trek on foot would be safer and attract less attention than driving trucks. The rats decided to implement the plan on February 26, 2014 at about 12:00 a.m. Before they started, SAA engineers planted mines all along the only pathway the rats could travel. It was a just a matter of waiting for them to get beyond the fail-safe point and then detonate the explosives. That was to be followed up by artillery and infantry fire.

All communication equipment was turned off so as not to alert the SAA or MI to the plan. This meant that even if the terrorists in Al-Mafraq discovered the trap, they would not be able to warn the rats moving into it. The fact that the rodents selected a night-time operation meant also that the SAA and MI would be able to set the trap in largely flat territory without being seen. And that is what happened. The vermin moving quickly and stealthily past several military bases did not have the ability to see the large force waiting for them. And they could not suspect the explosives planted for their warm reception just south of the lake.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. the rats ran past a point just south of Al-’Utayba Lake, exactly where the SAA knew they would because of intercepted communications and because the path they were following necessarily led there. The rats must have been completely shocked as their world erupted around them and as Shilkas, infantry and artillery tore at them with such ferocity that it is a minor miracle any survived. As the sun started to rise, the SAA colonel in charge of the ambush relayed the message to HQ that the rats were annihilated. SANA and Al-Mayadin were quickly informed and sent to the scene with minders to insure that no technology could be compromised.

Syrian soldiers and NDF swiftly disarmed all carcasses and wounded rodents to insure, as in the case of the former, that none were feigning death in an effort to either escape or open fire on unsuspecting soldiers. The carcasses were removed and lined up along a pathway far from any signs indicating the technology used to kill them.

The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant said in a document that its first "Aqed al-Thima," Arabic for protection pact, was reached in a meeting last Thursday with 20 Christian leaders in the northern province of Raqqa, a bastion for the Islamic State.

The authenticity of the two-page document circulating online since Wednesday could not be independently verified, but such issues have stoked fears in Syria's Christian minority community that they are being targeted by extremists among the fighters seeking to oust President Bashar Assad.

The document bore a stamp the group uses in other statements posted on militant websites and the signature of 20 people it said were the Christian leaders. The signatures were blotted out on the request of the signers, according to the document, and were signed by a representative of its leader, called the emir.

It said the Christian leaders opted for paying the tax when they were asked to choose one of three options: convert to Islam, remain Christian and pay the tax or "refuse and be considered warriors who will be confronted with the sword of the Islamic State."

Abu Qatada, the radical Jordanian preacher deported from Britain who is on trial for terrorism charges at home, said Syria's militants should not collect the tax.

"They can't promise full protection to Christians because they are in a state of war and not in full control of the areas they are in," he said. "Therefore, the conditions for them to pay for a Muslim state is not fulfilled and any agreement based on that is null and void."

The 52-year-old cleric, who is described as a senior al-Qaida figure in Europe with ties to the late Osama bin Laden, made the comments to reporters during a break in his trial on Thursday.

Syria's minorities, including Christians, mostly have sided with Assad or remained neutral in Syria's civil war, which is into its third year. They fear for their fate if the rebels, increasingly dominated by Islamic extremists, come to power. Christians as well as human rights groups have accused radicals among the rebels of abusing residents and vandalizing churches after taking Christian towns.

Al-Qaida-linked militants, who seized control of Raqqa last March, have set fires to churches and knocked crosses off them, replacing them with the group's black Islamic banner.

Islamic extremists among opposition fighters also have abducted 12 nuns, two bishops and a priest.

Before the Islamic State takeover, Christians made up about 10 percent of Raqqa's 500,000 inhabitants. Most have fled since.

Under the strict Islamic Sharia doctrine, non-Muslims living under the sovereignty of a Muslim caliphate-style state must pay a special tax — known as the "Jizyah" — in return for the ruler's protection, known as Thima.

The Islamic State document said the tax could be paid in two annual installments by all "adult" Christians in Raqaa.

It set the amount to be levied from the rich at "four golden dinars," saying each is worth 4.25 grams (0.15 ounce). It said the middle class would pay half the rich, while the poor would pay only "one golden dinar."

In return for the ruler's protection, the Christian leaders agreed to 12 other conditions, which include refraining from refurbishing churches or monasteries in Raqqa, holding back all religious symbols, such as displaying crosses in public or using loudspeakers in prayer, adhering to a "modest" dress code and refraining from trading in pork meat and alcohol and drinking it in public.

"If they adhere to these conditions, they will be close to God and receive the protection of Muhammad, his prophet," the document said.
