Markus Bay switches thus Ajax a year before the contract expired. The parties have agreed that the transfer amount is not disclosed.
Huge credit to the talented work
CEO Tommy Håkansson says:
- It is a huge tribute to the club's talent work, continuing to develop talents that are so skilled that they are interesting for the big clubs in Europe. We are therefore proud to sell Markus to Ajax Amsterdam.
- We have in Brondby a clear strategy to develop their own talents and use them in Superliga team, which we largely already do. Conversely, we are also aware that when talent is as big as it is in Mark? cases, so the players are incredibly sought after by big clubs at a very early age.
- Therefore it makes sense for both parties to sell Markus now, so Brondby financially get the most out of it. We are pleased to be able to develop and sell a great talent like Mark, and so we focus on ensuring the Phillies future for the next talent in the series. Good luck to Mark in the Netherlands.
The best club in Denmark
Even says Markus Bay:
- It is really hard to say goodbye to Brøndby, where I've played since I was four years old. It is the best club in Denmark, and I have had a great time with all the tours we have been on, and the good coaches and teammates I've had, since I was quite small for now.
- Conversely, I am very pleased to start in Ajax. To come to a big club abroad has been my dream a long time, and I'm glad that Brondby now has helped me to fulfill that dream.

Zoals? Andersen, Meleg, Klaassen en Serero? Dat zijn er vier voor 2 posities, waar je er ook nog wel vanuit kan gaan dat er van dat groepje binnen 4 jaar nog wel wat vertrokken zijn.quote:
