Panther's staff has been reduced to a minimal size, and only one chassis remains at the shop. Former Panther mechanics are working for other race teams. Doug Barnes, one of Panther's staples, will work with Martin Plowman at A.J. Foyt Racing in May.
Several IndyCar teams have already acquired Panther equipment, including two yet-to-be-announced programs for the 500. The team that will field Stefan Wilson is one of them.

En de volgende coureur voor de Indy 500 is bekend. Pippa Mann zal weer voor Dale Coyne (#63) in actie komen tijdens de Indy 500. Hiermee komen we op 31 coureurs tot nog toe.
Naar verwachting zullen er nog wel een paar bijkomen (er worden o.a. nog auto´s verwacht van Dale Coyne (#18), Bryan Herta (Filippi?) en Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing).

We komen in de buurt. Carlos Huertas is bevestigd bij Dale Coyne en James Davison wordt genoemd bij KV Racing. Daarmee zouden we op 33 komen.

Beide vallen nog onder de 33 bevestigde coureurs, (*) Viso valt voorlopig in voor Hinchcliffe die een hersenschudding heeft. Het is nog afwachten of die in actie komt tijdens de Indy 500 anders neemt Viso zijn plek in.
