Nu is het wel zo dat de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding best goed kan zijn. Ik ben er altijd wat bang voor dat je zelfs met een zwart beeld nog een hele kamer kan verlichten met die clouding effecten van die TV's, maar wellicht valt dat bij deze nog mee, ik zou wat goede reviews opzoeken.

Sowieso zou ik niet voor die prijs een 46" of groter nemen. Daarmee zit je voor een duppie op de eerste rang en krijg je ook de kwaliteit waar je voor betaalt. 3X niks dus.quote:

More good news for a set as affordable as the 46TL963 is how effective its screen is at soaking up any reflections or lights that might hit it from a normal living room environment. This, as you would expect, has a very beneficial impact on the screen’s perceived contrast performance.
In fact, with ‘typical’ HD viewing, which consistently contains shots combining a mixture of light and dark content, the 46TL963’s contrast range looks excellent for such a high-value set, with punchy whites at one of the spectrum and pleasingly deep blacks at the other. Also, there’s not the same overt grey ‘wash’ over predominantly dark scenes that’s all-too-common at the 46TL963’s price level.
Verdict:
The 46TL963 feels like only an incremental improvement on its predecessor overall, and its backlight consistency with 2D is arguably slightly worse than that of its predecessor.
However, for most of the time its pictures in 2D and 3D mode look overall slightly better than those of the TL868 series, and it’s also got one or two extra features up its sleeve too. Which means that as with its predecessor, it can be considered a pretty serious bargain.

Beetje jammer dat er weer een TV-topic aan het ontsporen is, laat het op de man spelen eens achterwege en ga inhoudelijk op de vraag in. Bij voorkeur niet op de manier die banapples laat zien...

Want ondanks dat deze televisie 100Hz is, heb je daar vrij weinig aan. Motion interpolation heeft Toshiba namelijk nog lang niet onder de knie waardoor je veel motion interpolation errors krijgt. Dat zijn blokken in het scherm. Met name rondom personen.
Daarnaast mag het wel een IPS-P paneel zijn wat er gebruikt wordt, dit hoeft niet direct een voordeel te zijn. Grote kans dat het een 6-bit paneel is waardoor kleur en gradaties veel minder goed zijn dan eigenlijk zou moeten.
Naast dat, heb ik nog niet een Toshiba televisie gezien met een goede uniformiteit van backlight waardoor het scherm ongelijkmatig wordt verlicht en je vlekken krijgt. Zoiets;
