One thing, however, has changed in Tilburg. The soft drugs policy, which was already a bit confusing (hash and weed are neither legal nor illegal; they are tolerated in small quantities for personal use), remains the same in Holland. However, to further complicate things a few cities, including Tilburg, have introduced a new rule; you must be a Dutch resident in order to be able to buy weed or hash. So it’s still OK if you have a small amount of either one on you, or when you smoke some, but unless you have a Dutch ID card you won’t be able to buy it (yourself) in the koffieshops/ coffeeshops.

So as the nice, polite, law-abiding and decent people we are, we wouldn’t recommend that you stock up on these things in other cities like Utrecht, Amsterdam, Den Bosch or Arnhem that you might be traveling through (coffeeshops in these cities still sell to anyone). Neither would we suggest that you make some Dutch friends at Roadburn who can perhaps provide you with the aformentioned substances. But remember, this is Holland, so in the end there will never be a problem even if you're caught by the police (who are not keen on going after small sellers).

Vorig jaar ben ik onder de naam Breathe Plastic een cassette label begonnen (meer info in mijn signature). Vooral gericht op doom / sludge / post-rock en aanverwanten genres.

Vandaag kwamen twee nieuwe releases binnen, Destroy Judas (doom/sludge uit California met ex-leden van Phobia/Mindrot) en Black Mare, het debuut solo project van Sera Timms (Black Math Horseman / Ides of Gemini). Destroy Judas is bij mij inmiddels uitverkocht, maar van Black Mare zijn er nog exemplaren. Voor de liefhebbers

Is inderdaad nog een vrij grote vraag naar is gebleken, veel bands zijn er ook enthousiast over. En een downloadcode wordt er inderdaad gewoon bij geleverd.

Yup inderdaad, maar ook metal labels doen veel aan cassette. Ik snap het ook niet echt, maar het schijnt te verkopen. Zolang er maar een download link bijzit vind ik het best
