Het is wellicht interessant als ze die motor kunnen gebruiken in de LMP1 series, maar daar weet ik het fijne niet van.
Ik zie zo snel nog niet een 911 met een 1,6L V6 turbo verschijnen, dus wat dat aangaat hebben ze er compleet geen kut aan

maar als ze in F1 stappen zal dat toch wel met VW te maken hebben.
ik denk dat zo'n motor voor het hele VW-concern interessant kan zijn. Het kan helpen de huidige krachtbronnen nog beter laten presteren. Ik kan me best voorstellen dat de 1,6 literkrachtbron deel uit gaan maken van een hele range die dezelfde soort technieken gebruikt bij verschillende cilinderinhoud. Dan krijg je bijvoorbeeld een Porsche straatauto die het bijvoorbeeld met een 3 liter motor moet doen die toch net als de 3,8 liter van nu er 400 pk uit perst

Ik kan he top zich ook wel waarderen, maar voor zowel JV als JPM gold dat naarmate ze slechter presteerden ze dat meer gingen compenseren met praatjes, en dan wordt het snel een beetje zielig.quote:

Raikkonen was in het begin volgens mij vooral verlegen en schuw, en hij sprak daardoor heel monotoon. Die schijt aan alles houding van hem was meer een verdedigingsmechanisme wat hij daartoe opgeworpen heeft, maar wel met leuk resultaat.
Daarnaast is het volgens mij een beetje over met de brave nietszeggende praatjes, en hebben teambazen en sponsors ook wel door dat het niet bij de F1 en in het bijzonder F1-coureurs past. Omkoopschandaal
Boven het hoofd van Ecclestone hangt een mogelijk aanklacht in de zaak rondom het omkoopschandaal in de Formule 1.
Verklaring
De voormalige bankier en inmiddels veroordeelde Gerhard Gribkowsky van BayernLB zou onlangs een belastende verklaring hebben afgelegd over de Formule 1-baas.
Aanklacht
De Duitser zou de onderzoekers hebben verteld dat Ecclestone wist dat hij een ambtenaar was. En dat is belangrijk, want dit zou door het Openbaar Ministerie kunnen worden uitgelegd dat Ecclestone wist dat Gribkowsky in de functie van ambtenaar geen geld mocht aannemen. Hierdoor ligt een aanklacht tot omkoping op de loer.
Geld
Gribkowsky werd afgelopen juni veroordeeld tot 8,5 jaar celstraf voor corruptie. In het justitieel onderzoek kwam naar voren dat Ecclestone 44 miljoen dollar had betaald aan de bankier om Formule 1-aandelen van Bayern LB bewust beneden de marktwaarde aan een investeerder, die Ecclestone goed gezind was, te verkopen.

Cosworth te koop

"Initial discussions have been had with some people, and I think by the end of September we would like to know where we are. But I don't think we have to have all the t's crossed and the i's dotted by then. It can go a little bit longer than that."

Yelloly is de eerste die geen connecties heeft met een F1 team maar die kan Robin niet meer langs in de eindstand. Het lijkt erop dat de Grand Prix van New Jersey een jaar wordt uitgesteld en dat Turkije deze race volgend jaar gaat vervangen.
