Het grote 'buitenlandse reacties op onze Joan'-topic

Ja, ja ben al bezig

Wat een werk om al die sites bij langs te gaan. Maar goed, wat mij in het algemeen opvalt:

De meerderheid lijkt het lied goed te vinden. Ook zijn er genoeg 'haters'. Ik denk dat dit op zich goed is, of mensen gaan er straks helemaal voor of juist niet, maar het is in elk geval geen 'veilige' inzending.
Wat buitenlandse fans niet begrijpen is de kleding en de act, sommige fans hebben het idee dat het nu een 'joke entry' is.
Ook is er positief commentaar over de show van gisteravond.

Met behulp van google translator de volgende sites langs gegaan:

Kroatische site (http://www.eurosong.hr)
- Op één na, geen enkele positieve reactie gelezen.

Noorse site (http://www.nrk.no/debatt/index.php?showtopic=94896)
- De reacties zijn verdeeld, de één vindt het wel wat, een ander lijkt er niet echt weg van te zijn. Ook hier veel opmerkingen over de tooi.

Russisch forum (http://www.euroforum.com.ru/read.php?1,646346,page=26)
- Ook hier positieve reacties. Het woordje 'cute' komt een aantal keer voorbij. Er zijn ook Russen die het erg jammer vinden dat Raffaëla niet heeft gewonnen, ze vinden haar lied goed.

- Ook hier zijn de meningen verdeeld en snapt niet iedereen de tooi.
- Verder positief commentaar gelezen over het nummer van Ivan en Pearl. Een aantal mensen zijn blij dat Pearl niet heeft gewonnen omdat dit nummer misschien punten had kunnen afsnoepen van Spanje (wordt waarschijnlijk ook een ballad). Pearl

A dutch squaw? A little strange, but then again - it is always dfficult to figure out the dutch taste. Reminds me a bit of Aura Dione for those of you who knows her. Anyway, probably the first time in years that the Netherlands have a chance to go the final. I don't think there will be many other country songs.

Well I watched the selection yesterday... this song came up, and I was sold.... not so keen on her outfit but this is ny 10 miles the best song so far. Well done Netherlands for putting those juries on the sideline and choose the best song of the evening.... Love it....

Ik zou het onterecht en zeer jammer vinden mocht men hier niet op stemmen omdat men de boodschap niet begrijpt, dus daar moet John, Joan en de rest echt goed over na gaan denken. Ik denk wel dat ze de hoofdtooi moet houden (of veren in d'r haar aanbrengen), maar in combi met een andere jurk..of iets zoals in The voice en dan zo'n bloemetjeskrans (gemaakt van madeliefjes ofzo ) in d'r haar... staat haar ook super

Heel simpel, ze moet gewoon het verhaal erachter vertellen aan de journalisten op het ESF, dat ze indiaantje speelde met dat jongetje, en het bijbehorende filmpje moet duidelijk getoond worden op het grote scherm.

Maar dat voorspellen doet hij altijd iets meer mathematisch dan op basis van persoonlijke voorkeur.

After I posted last night, I continued to listen to this song 10 more times. Easily my favourite this year. Because the Dutch have had such a bad run, I already hope they win regardless of any other song still to come. There's something just so quaint and innocent and charming about it. It reminds me of that Lily Allen song "Not Fair" with a twist of Lena's quirkiness spun in. Joan also has the most prettiest eyes and an elegant poutiness from her high cheekbones. It's very difficult not be entranced by the entire package. Obviously I'm now talking myself into loving this song more and more. I'm thinking now to keep the American Indian outfit. It's working so far.

I really like this kooky song. Everyone seems concerned that the costume will work against her - maybe she could retain just one or two feathers in a new costume as a token of the nostalgia behind the song. But if this lovely song fails to qualify it will be seriously unfair.

Heb even op digitalspy.co.uk bijgelezen wat de engelsen er van vinden en wat me opvalt is dat mensen het vooral pas na een paar keer horen of na een poosje een leuk nummer vinden. Da's natuurlijk niet zo positief als we stemmen binnen willen trekken

Herkenbaar. Nummer viel mij tijdens de liveshow van het NSF de eerste keer echt tegen. Tweede keer zat ik voornamelijk vreselijk te hopen dat die faalnummers van Pearl en Ivan het niet zouden worden en me daarna gruwelijk op te winden over de jury.
Pas toen ik you and me daarna op youtube ging luisteren begon ik het leuk te vinden...

Een ding hebben we toch wel aan de 3J's te danken, de underdogpositie, daar moeten toch op zn minst sympathyvotes uit te slepen zijn? En helemaal omdat we nu WEL een heel leuk liedje sturen.
