- het plan is dat alle troepen verzamelen in een klein dorpje binnen Tripoli (Petulah oid)
- ze hebben nog geen green light om op te rukken naar Tripoli
- ze denken dat Khadaffi in het zuiden zit en niet in Tripoli

The Libyan government has appealed for an immediate ceasefire and an end to Nato's "aggression" as the rebel force approaches the capital Tripoli.
Spokesman for Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's regime, Moussa Ibrahim, told reporters the rebels were nothing without Nato and they would never be able to take Libya.
He also claimed the people of Tripoli would not rise up and join them.
"Tripoli is well protected and we have thousands upon thousands of professional soldiers ready to defend this city against any possible invasion by rebels under the cover of Nato."
He added: "What is happening now and what is going to happen is not the power of the rebels.
"It's the power of Nato - a major force for evil that has no heart, using armed gangs to occupy a whole nation."
Mr Ibrahim's made the comments as the rebels came under sniper fire at the western gate of Tripoli following quick progress along the coast to the capital.

Tunisia's Foreign Ministry has recognised the Libyan rebels' National Transitional Council as the sole legitimate representative of the Libyan people, the official Tunisian TAP news agency reports.
The move represents a major shift in policy for Libya's neighbour to the west, which has remained neutral throughout the months-long civil conflict that has seen rebels attempt to oust long-standing leader Muammar Gaddafi.
France and Italy were among the first nations to recognise the Benghazi-based NTC as the Libyan government, and the United States has also done so.

The NATO-supported rebels have steadily gained ground and are closing in on the capital, Tripoli.
Meanwhile on Saturday, TAP also reported Gaddafi's former right-hand man left the Tunisian island of Djerba for Italy after apparently defecting.
Abdel-Salam Jalloud's flight took off from the Djerba airport early on Saturday, the report said, without providing any details. Rebels attempting to oust Gaddafi have said Jalloud has defected.
Jalloud helped Gaddafi stage the 1969 coup that propelled him to power. He was Gaddafi's most trusted deputy for two decades and the regime's No. 2 official, but began to clash with the leader in the 1990s.
The TAP report added that another top Libyan official, Oil Minister Omrane Boukraa, has not returned to Libya following a mission to Italy. He was expected to return home on Thursday.

Die gaddafi is nog niet jarig als ze hem te pakken krijgen. Mubarak hebben ze voor minder in een kooi gezet.
Toch denk ik dt hij - net als Ben Ali - het land uitvlucht. Vergeleken met Mubarak zit eerdergenoemde veilig in Saudi Arabie dus als Gaddafi slim is doet hij hetzelfde.

Ik zat er ook aan te denken idd dat hij misschien zelfmoord gaat plegen. Maar dat lijkt me onwaarschijnlijk. In de islam is zelfmoord taboe. Hij is een leider der gelovigen (emir el muminin) althans zo beschouwt hij zichzelf. Er is naar mijn weten nooit een islamitische leider die zelfmoord heeft gepleegd. Maar goed je weet maar nooit want hij schijnt mentaal niet goed te zijn, oa. schizofrenie.
Ik denk dat hij te gestoord is om zelfmoord te plegen. Eerder zie ik hem zichzelf doodvechten. Maar we zullen het zien, ik ben wel benieuwd hoe de 'rebellen' (dat vinden ze zelf geen prettige term) het uiteindelijk gaan afhandelen.

het is een vestingstad, Ghadaffi claimt zelf duizenden professionele militairen in de stad te hebben, hoogstens kun je het een oorlogsmisdaad noemen dat hij die burgers als menselijk schild gebruikt maar je kunt het gewoon belegeren
