De nakba leugen..
A prime example of Palestinian brazen malicious deceit against Israel is their so-called "Day of Catastrophe" NAKBA DAY. Apparently the first Arab to coin this meretricious concept was Syrian historian Constantine Zureiq in his 1948 book, Ma'na al-Nakba (The Meaning of the Disaster).
Official Palestinian "national" commemoration of the day was not inaugurated until 1998 by Yasser Arafat. Following Arafat's declaration of recognition for the day, over one million Arabs participated in marches and other events. They have plans for this year as well.
What is the "disaster" NAKBA DAY commemorates? Nothing less than the day on which Israel Declared Independence in 1948. And to add insult to injury, the Palestinians commemorate their national disaster day every year to coincide with the Gregorian date on which Israel was declared. Israeli Independence Day is officially celebrated on the Hebrew date, Iyar 5. Around 15 May.
Why was Israel's Declaration of Independence such a disaster (NAKBA) for the Palestinians?This harks back to Israel's 1948 War of independence.
The 1948 Palestinian exodus, also known as Nakba, meaning the "disaster", "catastrophe", or "cataclysm", occurred when approximately 725,000 Palestinian Arabs fled or were expelled from their homes, during this bitter war.
If you look up NAKBA online, the search returns numerous Palestinian websites claiming to explain this phenomenon in Palestinian history and eliciting sympathy and even financial donations for the numerous Palestinian refugees in the Arab countries who are descendants of the original refugees from Israel's 1948 War of Independence.
At the time this unfortunate problem developed in the late 1940s, flooding the Arab countries with thousands and even hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees, the Arabs refused to accept any solution to the problem but Israel's accepting all the refugees back into the territory they fled – now the state of Israel. Israel for its part agreed to accept a small percentage back. But for the tyrannical Arabs, the solution was all or nothing.
So the Palestinian refugees who fled Israel in 1948 during the War of Independence were stuck by their fellow Arabs in squalid camps in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq elsewhere too, like Egypt. And the Arabs have consistently exploited the problem for political mileage against Israel and on the backs of the Palestinians.
A question that is more to the point however, is how exactly did the Palestinians become refugees in the first place, in 1948. The first cause was surely the War of Independence itself. The Arabs who lived in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and elsewhere in the Jewish yishuv vehemently rejected the UN Partition plan for Palestine, and took arms against the newborn state of Israel.
The Arabs who became refugees weren't just innocent bystanders, in other words. They were active combatants who threw their hats in the ring with the invading Arab countries whose aim was to annihilate the Jewish State in childbirth.
Were there cases in which Palestinians were forcibly removed and deported by Israel and the IDF? Probably, but it seems to me that in a war it is always better to err on the side of caution when dealing with armed adversaries. And the record shows there was never an official Israeli government-signed document ordering the removal and deportation of any Palestinian combatants.
The fact is, in 1948 Palestinian Arab leaders strongly encouraged their constituents to leave Israel and return to their homes after the war was quickly won by the invading Arab armies. The Arab leaders told the Arab population in newly-declared Israel to get out of harm's way and let the invading Arab armies do their work without interference. This was another reason they fled.
This perverted "national" Palestinian NAKBA observance therefore, has nothing to do with historical facts, but springs solely and exclusively from their "national" impulse to express hate and malice against the Jewish people and against Israel.
If there was a disaster (A NAKBA) for the Palestinians stemming from Israel's War Of Independence they brought it down on their own heads. There is absolutely no truth to the claim that Israel is responsible for their refugee status to begin with or the perpetuation of their being refugees. It was a time of war, and Israel had no alternative but to win the war, no holds barred.
It seems to me there has never been any war in history that did not cause a refugee problem. However, in the case of the 1948 Palestinian refugee problem, the Arab countries to which they fled, and despicable organizations like the United Nations Relief And Works Agency (UNRWA) have persistently taken measures to perpetuate their refugee fate, stick this problem in Israel's eye unjustifiably, and ensure the problem is never corrected in a just, humane manner.
In fact, the most just and true manner in which to view the Palestinian refugee problem in the days following Israel’s War of Independence is as a population transfer. While some 700,000 Palestinians were displaced from Palestine during the war, the Arab countries exploited their anger over Israel’s victory to expel an estimated 800,000 Jewish inhabitants from Arab lands.
The Jews found their way to new homes and new lives in Israel, despite millions of dollars of confiscated property in their former homes. This injustice has never been rectified. The situation partly rectified itself because some of the Jews expelled from Arab lands took the place in Israel that the Palestinians abandoned.
The corollary to the NAKBA is the Palestinian Right of Return, which the Palestinians refuse to abandon, but if undertaken would undermine the state of Israel, and is again part and parcel of Palestinian peace aims. Not peace – but Israel piece by piece. Or Israel – Rest In Peace.

Wat je dus eigenlijk propageert is dat de nazaten van de tien stammen die opgelost zijn in de omgeving maar van het aan hun beloofde land moeten worden verdreven.
En waarom dat Cis/Trans Jordanië? Vraag dat maar aan de Britten die de afspraken met de Arabieren aan hun laars lapten en ook nog afspraken maakten met de Fransen en de Joden, over het zelfde gebied ..
Of wou je soms ontkennen dat de 'niet bestaande' plaatselijke bewoners van dat 'lege' gebied vanaf het moment dat de Balfour verklaring bekend werd er van alles aan hebben gedaan om te laten zien dat het gebied nou echt niet leeg is en dat zij het er niet mee eens zijn? De plaatselijke bevolking had gewoon massaal naar het spiksplinternieuwe Jordanië moeten verhuizen, want dat is tenslotte hun land, volgens jou? Even een etnische zuivering ten bate van de Jood uit Europa of Rusland, die heeft er blijkbaar meer recht op een stuk grond daar omdat die er zo'n 2500-3000 jaar geleden twee koninkrijken had? In Palestine, the time has come for national reconciliation. On the eve of the 63rd
commemoration of the Nakba – the uprooting of Palestinians that accompanied the creation of Israel in 1948 – this is a long-awaited and hopeful moment. Earlier this year the release by al-Jazeera and the Guardian of 1,600 documents related to the so-called peace process caused deep consternation among Palestinians and in the Arab world. Covering more than 10 years of talks (from 1999 to 2010) between Israel and the PLO, the Palestine papers illustrated the tragic consequences of an inequitable and destructive political process which had been based on the assumption that the Palestinians could in effect negotiate their rights and achieve self-determination while enduring the hardship of the Israeli occupation.
My name has been circulated as one of the possible sources of these leaks. I would like to clarify here the extent of my involvement in these revelations and explain my motives. I have always acted in the best interest of the Palestinian people, in its entirety, and to the full extent of my capacity.
My own experience with the "peace process" started in Ramallah, in January 2008, after I was recruited as an adviser for the negotiation support unit (NSU) of the PLO, specifically in charge of the Palestinian refugee file. That was a few weeks after a goal had been set at the Annapolis conference: the creation of the Palestinian state by the end of 2008. Only 11 months into my job, in November of that year, I resigned. By December 2008, instead of the establishment of a state in Palestine, I witnessed on TV the killing of more than 1,400 Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli army.
My strong motives for leaving my position with the NSU and my assessment of the "peace process" were clearly detailed to Palestinian negotiators in my resignation letter dated of 9th November 2008.
The "peace negotiations" were a deceptive farce whereby biased terms were unilaterally imposed by Israel and systematically endorsed by the US and EU. Far from enabling a negotiated and fair end to the conflict, the pursuit of the Oslo process deepened Israeli segregationist policies and justified the tightening of the security control imposed on the Palestinian population, as well as its geographical fragmentation. Far from preserving the land on which to build a state, it has tolerated the intensification of the colonisation of the Palestinian territory. Far from maintaining a national cohesion, the process I participated in, albeit briefly, was instrumental in creating and aggravating divisions among Palestinians. In its most recent developments, it became a cruel enterprise from which the Palestinians of Gaza have suffered the most. Last but not least, these negotiations excluded for the most part the great majority of the Palestinian people: the seven million Palestinian refugees. My experience over those 11 months in Ramallah confirmed that the PLO, given its structure, was not in a position to represent all Palestinian rights and interests.
Tragically, the Palestinians were left uninformed of the fate of their individual and collective rights in the negotiations, and their divided political leaderships were not held accountable for their decisions or inaction. After I resigned, I believed I had a duty to inform the public.
Shortly after the Gaza war I started to write about my experience in Ramallah. In my 2010 book, Il n'y aura pas d'Etat Palestinien (There will be no Palestinian State), I concluded: "The peace process is a spectacle, a farce, played to the detriment of Palestinian reconciliation, at the cost of the bloodshed in Gaza." In full conscience, and acting independently, I later agreed to share some information with al-Jazeera specifically with regard to the fate of Palestinian refugee rights in the 2008 talks. Other sources did the same, although I am unaware of their identity. Taking these tragic developments of the "peace process" to a wider Arab and western audience was justified because it was in the public interest of the Palestinian people. I had – and still have – no doubt that I had a moral, legal and political obligation to proceed accordingly.
Today, I am relieved that this first-hand information is available to Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territory, in Israel and in exile. In a way, Palestinian rights are back in their holders' possession and the people are now in a position to make enlightened decisions about the future of their struggle. I am also glad that international stakeholders to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict can access these documents. The world can no longer overlook that while Palestinians' strong commitment to peace is genuine, the fruitless pursuit of a "peace process" framed according to the exclusive conditions of the occupying power leads to compromises which would be unacceptable in any other region of the globe.
Finally, I feel reassured that the people of Palestine overwhelmingly realise that the reconciliation between all their constituents must be the first step towards national liberation. The Palestinians from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians in Israel and the Palestinians living in exile have a common future. The path to Palestinian self-determination will require the participation of all in a renewed political platform.

ook in jerusalem bij de dung gate daar word de weg geblokkerd door protesters,.veel politie macht is aan wezig om het rustig te laten verlopen .
