En daarbij kan het ook goed zijn dat Kingdom Hearts de volledige resolutie gebruikt ipv 3D, dan hebben ze 2 keer zoveel pixels tot hun beschikking.

Ik heb steeds meer zin in. Ik hoop alleen dat Zelda snel hier uitkomt. Met de master quest erbij wil ik het spel nu zeker hebben.
Door de Master Quest is het spel nu ook echt een must-have voor mij. Maar bij de launch laat ik de 3DS waarschijnlijk nog wel liggen, de eerste games zijn niet zo heel interessant.

Het centrale plaatje met de linkjes naar een aantal andere sites is meer dan genoeg nu toch? Tevens is de info inmiddels hopeloos verouderd...

You can play DS games on the Nintendo 3DS. No problem there. But did you know they take a lot longer to load on Nintendo's new handheld than they did on the old one?
A series of tests run by GameSpot, booting up five games on both the DS and 3DS, found that the new 3D handheld takes much longer to load a game than its predecessor, in some cases (like Black Ops) taking 21 seconds to go from boot to main menu.
While this won't destroy your ability to enjoy older games on a newer handheld, it's interesting that a more powerful machine takes longer to do something than its feebler sibling could manage. Then again, considering the DS games are running essentially as emulated titles* - which always taxes hardware more than a game running on its intended device - the wait can be excused!

Dat had ik niet verwacht eigenlijk. Dit gaat wel enkel over de start-up toch? Of is de game tijdens de in-game menu's ook beduidend trager?

Okay, niets ernstigs dus. Ik zet mijn DS ook vrijwel nooit uit maar gewoon in slaapmode. Het laden van een spel, inclusief alle logo's, intro's en savegames is zo nutteloos

Japanese game retailer Enterking issued a notice that it would not be buying back any 3DS units that were used with a R4-type devices - specifically "illegal or unauthorized devices". The notice states that there seems to be a record of such use left on the system. This would be in line with the rumors that the 3DS keeps a log of flash cart use, which then can be checked.
The Nintendo terms of agreement clearly state that it is possible that the 3DS might not be able to boot up after firmware updates if unapproved or illegal devices are used in the 3DS. You have been warned!

Als de 3DS krachtig genoeg is om DS te emuleren, moet GBA helemaal lukken. Hopelijk komt dat dus ook in de online store. Tot nu toe was het alleen bekend van GB(C) games volgens mij dat die zouden komen
