Ikzelf had toevallig een Classic Controller (zat erbij toen ik de Wii kocht) en die vond ik echt fijn spelen. Met Wii Mote en Nunchuck vond ik het minder prettig.

Simcity Creator vind ik niks aan in tegenstelling tot de classic SNES-versie. Anno is gewoon een mini-versie van de pc serie en weet me na de campaign niet verder te boeien. Ik zoek dus games als Theme hospital of Civ

De bronnen van Game Informer melden dat het apparaat op, of kort voor de E3-beurs in juni wordt aangekondigd.

Nieuwe controller

CVG meldt dat de controller voor het apparaat meer is dan een geüpgrade Wii-afstandsbediening; de nieuwe controller zou zijn eigen HD-scherm hebben. IGN meldt dat het hier gaat om een touchscreen.

Volgens IGN zullen alle Wii-games ook te spelen zijn op dit nieuwe apparaat. Aangezien de Wii ook GameCube-games kan afspelen en de Nintendo 3DS ook DS-games, zou dit een logische stap zijn.

Eerste games

De verschillende bronnen zijn het erover eens dat de opvolger van de Wii eind 2012 op de markt komt. Uitgevers en ontwikkelaars hebben al kennis mogen maken met het apparaat en volgens CVG zijn sommige partijen zelfs al bezig met de ontwikkeling van hun eerste game voor de nieuwe spelcomputer.

Nintendo of America hasn't followed its "Player's Choice" budget line strategy with the Wii, as it did in the previous cycle with the GameCube and Game Boy Advance. Nintendo of Japan created the budget friendly "Minna no Osusume Collection" early last year.
