Dat valt wel mee. Als Toy Story 6 geweldig genoeg is, dan zullen de aanwezige arthousenerds die ook wel boven Shino Pongo Wawa verkiezen. Bij iets als Transformers zou dat wel kunnen gebeuren, maar dat is sowieso geen potentiële winnaar, dus dan is het eigenlijk irrelevant of die er nu in de 1e of 3e ronde uit gaat.

Daarom ga ik bij heel wat duels niet eens nadenken over mijn voorkeur of de moeite doen om het bold te maken. Ik weet toch dat beide films er voor of in de 1/8 finales uit liggen. (bv. duels 58 t/m 62). Of dat mijn stem geen invloed zal hebben op de uitslag, zoals bij LOTR.

Bij een aantal van de duels van 58 t/m 62 vind ik de uitslag helemaal niet zo makkelijk te voorspellen. Bijvoorbeeld 59 en 60. Welke voorkeuren heb jij dan waarvan je er zeker bent dat ze er deze rond uitvliegen?

Daarom doe ik ook niet meer mee met die wegstreep toernooien. Mag ik niet op mijn nummer 3 allertijden stemmen omdat ik z'n tegenstander niet heb gezien, bijvoorbeeld.
Bij MUZ doen we daarom ook veel meer lijstjes maken, kan iedereen z'n favorieten noemen, kunnen anderen zien wat iemand goed vind en komt er uiteindelijk een gemiddelde smaak uit.

Lijstjes maken is inderdaad net iets leuker en minder frustrerend. Maar het kan ook allebei.

Het gaat bij zo'n tournament alleen helemaal niet om lijstjes maar alleen om de winnaar. Het kan dus best zijn dat favoriet nr 2 er in de eerste ronde al uit ligt. De algemene FOK! favoriet blijft er altijd echter in en wint het tournament.

Ook niet mee eens trouwens, dwz de opzet van een wegstreep toernooi kan wel zijn dat je een nummer 1 wil en de rest boeit niet, maar het maken van je eigen lijst en het zien van lijstjes van anderen is toch veel leuker dan zien welke film per duo vetgedrukt wordt en welke duo's overgslagen worden?

Dat doen we ook wel eens, maar dit soort tournaments doen we altijd op dezelfde manier. Hier kun je een overzicht vinden van alle tournaments die er zo gehouden zijn: FTR Tournaments

Ja, dat weet ik, dat frusteert me juist, dat ik nooit mee kan doen met deze toernooien vanwege die regel dat je beide gezien moet hebben.
Als ik deze ronde even snel scan zien ik 2 duo's (21 en 109)waarvan ik beide gezien heb en ongeveer 50-70 waarvan ik er 1 gezien heb. Een top 50 kan ik dus makkelijk maken maar grote kans dat er bij dit toernooi in de kwartfinale al geen enkele film meer is die ik gezien heb.
