Lesnar needs surgery, might never fight again

UFC President Dana White originally told the press, this past weekend, that "He's [Lesnar] not well. He's not going to be getting well anytime soon," White told reporters after a UFC event in England. "He doesn't have cancer or AIDS or anything like this, (but) he's got some problems."
On Monday, White clarified his diagnosis somewhat. He also said that Lesnar is back in the U.S. and that he might be admitted to the Mayo Clinic for surgery. According to White, Lesnar, 32, might never fight again
Lesnar himself has not been heard from since cancelling a scheduled bout three weeks ago. Shortly thereafter, UFC announced that Lesnar had contracted mononucleosis. Rumours swirled that he had swine flu. Things appear to be going from bad to worse for the superstar mixed-martial artist.

UFC105 was best aardig, jammer alleen van het vele clinchwerk tegen de cage. Was bij meerdere gevechten toch wel teveel aanwezig, ik weet dat het erbij hoort maar toch 
En over Lesnar; Intestinal disorder kunnen zoveel dingen zijn..
Blindedarmontsteking, verstopping, teveel scheten laten of iets anders dat serieuzer en blijvend is (ziekte van Crohn bv). Zegt opzich daarom nog niet veel..

Strangely enough, Lesnar dominated former champions Frank Mir and Randy Couture while having a hole in his intestine, which was leaking acid into his stomach.
Following Lesnar’s successful surgery on Tuesday, his condition isn’t looking as grim as it once was, although his future in MMA is still in doubt.
“It’s looking better now than last week, but what that means, I don’t know,” an unsure White continued.
According to White, the earliest we can expect to hear an update will be sometime next week. He is still pushing to have his biggest pay-per-view draw get checked into the Mayo Clinic.
