What is the funniest trick you have ever been a part of?Caroline Wozniacki: We were in Japan playing a junior tournament. I was with my dad, and we knew a player who was staying in another room. I called his room, pretending to be reception. I told him, in very bad English, that he had been upgraded to a suite, and to go down to reception to confirm it. We watched him go down to reception and tell them he got a phone call, and they had no idea what he was talking about. He stood there for like 20 minutes - it was so funny! He went back to his room and I called him again, then he went down again and told them he had spoken to Miss Mashigawa (the name I used!) and they still had no idea what he was talking about, and that there was no Miss Mashigawa. Of course I had to stop somewhere so I went up to him and said 'I am Miss Mashigawa, I have a suite for you.'
Marion Bartoli: When I was young, like six or seven, firemen would be the ones coming to injured people's houses to take them to the hospital, and I was so scared of them. One day, my brother, who is nine years older than me, told me they were coming for me because I wasn't being nice. I cried and went under my bed to hide, then I ran to my mom, who got mad with my dad and brother. They had to do all the cleaning for a week - and my dad hates doing that, he's terrible at it. He can't do a bed or a window. He can't cook. My brother ended up cooking, but we didn't eat for a week because he burns everything.
Bethanie Mattek-Sands: I saw The Ring. My friend and I were in the theater, both crouched in our seats. We were the only people in the whole theater. At one point during the movie I looked back and about seven rows behind us there were two guys sitting there with Scream masks on. SCREAM MASKS. I hated it! If there was ever a prank to pull on me... I crouched back into my seat. I told my friend to look back and when she eventually did, they were gone. I will never watch another horror movie. No peer pressure could make me!
Vera Zvonareva: One time at school, someone told me the wrong classroom for an exam. So I waited for an hour and a half for my turn and when I finally got to the examiner, I was asked questions I had never heard of, and I realized it was the wrong room. I didn't pass the exam
Patty Schnyder: The problem is, I don't get scared at all. It's not easy to convince me of stupid things either, I know they're not true. I'm not a good victim. My parents used to try tricking me a lot but it wouldn't work.
Katarina Srebotnik: I once played a trick on a person but I'd rather not tell because it would put me in an awkward position. All I can say is I was still young then
Ana Ivanovic: My fitness coach and I hid in some bushes and jumped out on my old coach and hitting partner as they walked by. They were terrified!
Liezel Huber: I can't tell... I'm still playing tricks daily!
Aleksandra Wozniak: One time when I was flying back from the United States and got off the plane in Montréal, I went to collect my bags, and some people at baggage claim had taken my racquet bag and brought it up to the baggage claims desk, so that they could get my picture when I went to get it! They later said they weren't sure if it was me, the tennis player. It's funny how some people seem capable of anything when they really want something!
