Het laatste mailtje ken ik en is 100% niet echt. 't E-mail adres dat gebruikt wordt lijkt op die van blizzard maar je kunt op hun site en in hun emails teruglezen dat Blizzard nooit vraagt om je wachtwoord en/of cd-key of iets waarmee je het kan achterhalen. (Secret question) Dus verwijder de mailtjes direct en kijk in het vervolg eerst van wie je ze krijgt voordat je zomaar je wachtwoord opstuurt. Check even of de andere emails wel van Blizzard waren. Dan zit je nog steeds in de problemen, moet je even aantal wachtwoorden en geheime vragen veranderen en contact opnemen met Blizzard.

een guildie van me is deze week ook al gehacked. je hoort het toch vaak hoor.

'Gehackt worden' kan eigenlijk niet, in 99% van de gevallen is het een geval van eigen schuld. Dubieuze links naar websites, vage mails etc etc. Zelfs Curse.com had er last van. Als het om WoW websites gaat moet je gewoon helemaal niets vertrouwen.

Ik had heel wat jaar geleden (vanilla WoW) dat m'n account gehackt werd, en ik op tijd inlogde waardoor de hacker alleen m'n warlock gestript had van de gear. Meteen m'n password veranderd en contact opgenomen met een GM. Deze heeft mijn account gelocked (dit ook aangegeven) en er werd een mailtje verstuurd om te verifieren dat het wel degelijk mijn account was. Dit mailtje heb ik net even opgezocht:
Dit heb ik gewoon gegeven aan Blizzard, mijn account werd gerestored, m'n lock kreeg de gear terug, en sindsdien niet meer gehackt geweest.quote:We are suspending this account’s access to the World of Warcraft servers until such time as the ownership of the account can be verified.
