Weet iemand of er een website is waar je alle plaatsen en data van alle MJ-tour-concerten kunt terugvinden? Ik wil toch eens uitvogelen bij welk concert ik ooit in Bremen buiten het stadion heb staan luisteren...

This Is It Tour Rehearsals Details

I have obtained more information about Michael Jackson's This Is It Tour rehearsals. All the related contents are owned by AEG Live Inc. and will be released soon.

AEG hired documentarians Tim Patterson and Sandrine Orabona in connection with preparations and rehearsals for the tour.

Jackson started the first rehearsals on May 7, 2009 in Center Staging in Burbank and continued it through June 1. Jackson once appeared in Stimulted Inc.'s studio in Burbank on May 29 and in Culver Studios in Culver City from June 1st until June 10th. The preparations were made in the Forum in Inglewood on June 1 through June 21. The staging moved to the Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 22.

Jackson's creative team included among others the following members: Michael Bearden (musical director), Alfred Dunbar (bass), Roger Bashiri Johnson (percussion), Jonathan Moffett (drums), Thomas Organ (guitar), Orianthi Panagaris (lead guitar), and Morris Pleasure (keyboard); singers Judith Hill, Dorian Holley, Darryl Phinnesse and Kenneth Stacey; director Kenny Ortega; choreographers Travis Payne, Anthony Testa, and Stacey Walker; Karen Faye Heinze (hair and make up); Michael Bush (costumes). The selected dancers were: Nicholas Bass, Daniel Celebre, Mekia Cox, Christopher Grant, Misha Hamilton, Shannon Holtzapffel, Devin Jamieson, Charles Klapow, Ricardo Reid, Danielle Rueda Watts, Tyne Stecklein, and Timor Steffens.

Jackson once singed and danced in Stimulated Inc.'s studio for 2D and 3D footages for the backgorund Chaos LED screen to be set onstage behind him and for the already discussed Dome Project. The Dome Project would consist seven works: Smooth Criminal (Jackson inserted into classic 2D black-and-white film noir chase sequence); Thriller (3-D movie starting in a haunted house with a ghostly image of Vincent Price, then moving into a graveyard where the dead awaken); Earth Song (3D short film featuring little girl who wanders through rain forest, takes a nap and dreams of the splendor of nature, and awakens to find the natural world has been devastated); They Don't Care About Us (a/k/a Drill, 2D film in which a sea of soldiers march in unison; 10 male dancers replicated hundreds of times); MJ Air (3-D movie in which a 707 jet pulls into the frame; hole was to open in screen for Michael Jackson to enter; jet flies away); The Final Message (3-D movie of little girl from rain forest embracing the earth); and The Way You Make Me Feel (2D theatrical background featuring male dancers fashioned as historical construction workers).

AEG despite their previous statements does not have so many footages, but most of them are from the June 23 - 24 rehearsals.

The setlist includes among others: Wanne Be Startin' Somethin', Jam, They Don't Care About Us/Drill medley, Human Nature, Smooth Criminal, The Way You Make Me Feel, Black or White, Jackson 5 Medley, Off the Wall, I Just Can't Stop Loving You, Dangerous, Thriller/Threatened medley, Beat It, We are the World and Earth Song.

Other video sequences for the backgorund Chaos LED screen to be set onstage behind him would include the followings: Flashes and Glimpses (historical timeline of last century in 90 seconds); Startin' Somethin' (animation with letters MJ and words This Is It); Jackson 5 Medley (graphic animation featuring Jackson 5 logo); I Just Can't Stop Loving You (animation of a baroque hall of mirrors); Dangerous (graphic animation replicating brainwaves); Dirty Diana (graphic animation replicating fire); We are the World (graphic animation containing religious icons); and Heal the World (stock footage of children).

AEG furthermore owns over 1.000 color, digital photos taken on May 6 and June 22 - 23.

Terug van een weekendje Londen. Toch maar even naar de O2 gegaan, waar een herdeningsplek is ingericht, net als bij Lyric Theatre, waar Thrillervoorstelling is.

Dat had best gekund, alleen denk ik dan wel op Black or White.

Ik wordt helemaal gek van de roddels rondom MJ. Ik geloof niets meer tot ik echt bewijs zie of als het van een betrouwbare bron komt (not including LaToya or Joe). Vandaag in The Sun dat hij homo was, met de meest waanzinnige roddels erin. Ze doen echt alles om die kutkrantjes te verkopen Je reinste lijkenpikkerij

OPEN LETTER TO A MICHAEL JACKSON ACCUSER (THE ARVIZO FAMILY): Subpoenaed by the defense in 2005, Azja Pryor writes to Jackson's 2nd accuser

Dear Gavin, Star, Davellin, and Janet:

After Michael's tragic death last week, I have to say that all the negative feelings I've had towards your family following the outrageous claims made by you Gavin and your mother Janet--against Michael--came back to me tenfold. The pain, disappointment, anger, and betrayal I feel towards you simply cannot be put into words.

You have shown me that your greed, lies, and personal gain override any “morals” your family claims to have; and you have proven yourselves to be the kind of people capable of turning your back on the very person who came to your rescue when you were most desperate.

The fact that you falsely accused Michael of the most heinous of acts, and made his life a living hell in what would become his last years is unthinkable; and I am sure some would say, unforgivable. In your attempts to destroy him once again, you, Gavin, accused the man you called your “best friend” of the one thing that you (and everyone else) knew would completely turn his life inside out.

You took the one thing we all know that Michael cared about most in life--children, especially children who are suffering, and you tried to turn it into a bad thing. You Janet, as a parent, allowed this, encouraged this, and went forward with the awful lies in an attempt to destroy Michael Jackson and swindle money from him.

Shame on you!

This man did nothing but help your family in their darkest hour. I know Michael was just like my family. We were all pulled into your woeful stories and shared your family's plight as Gavin fought for his life during his battle with cancer. Gavin, you told me that Michael's love helped cure you of cancer.

Your entire family praised Michael privately to everyone who would listen, yet turned against him so viciously in public. I have remained silent for many years, but I can no longer do so. Right now I struggle to find the words to adequately write this letter, as I am so filled with anger towards you and pain for the Jackson family.

You call yourself Christians. If this is true I call on you, Gavin, and your mother Janet to finally do the right thing for Michael in death that you never did during his days here on earth. You need to completely exonerate Michael's name and legacy from the awful, disgusting claims you made against him.

Claims and allegations that you and I both know are completely false and utterly ridiculous. Whatever your motives at the time to create such accusations are now minute and unimportant.

It is much bigger than you.

We are speaking on this man's legacy; a man who positively touched lives around the world. A man who is arguably the greatest entertainer the world will ever know. Michael is someone who shared in your family's pain; opened his home to you and included you in his very own family. He was a human being who never deserved any of this.

Gavin and Janet, you can change your identity and try to hide from the public scrutiny, but ultimately, you cannot hide from the wrath of God's judgement. This is the right thing to do. It is the very least you can do for Michael, his children, and his legacy.

Gavin you are now 19 years old, no longer an impressionable young boy under you mother's guidance, nor are you a pawn in this grand scheme to assassinate Michael's character. I know your heart, and I know that you are capable of doing what is right. Clear Michael's name of your ugly accusations once and for all. You owe it to him. You owe it to his family. And you owe it to God. Let's finally give Michael the ability to completely rest in peace.

Geslaagd?? Wat een vreselijke verkrachting van dit mooie nummer...

Ik wil een aantal dvd's gaan bestellen van Michael ,maar welke kan ik dan het beste nemen denken jullie, ik wil van alle tours er één hebben....misschien kunnen jullie raad geven...!
Ik hen gehoord dat de HIStory tour Helsinki heel goed is...is dat zo?

Het concert in Bucharest is het enige officiële concert wat is uitgebracht. Daarnaast heb je het BAD Tour concert in Yokohama wat ook op DVD is verschenen (zie bol.com). Het beste HIStory Tour concert (qua kwaliteit) is Munchen, nadat hij afgelopen week op TV is geweest.

Helsinki is daarentegen ook wel goed. Het concert in Kuala Lumpur en in Gothenburg zijn ook de moeite waard.
