- Malmö course will take good money for me, but I think it's weird that I'm going to cost more than Marcus Berg shooting that led the league when he left IFK Gothenburg, says Ola way to let Blue Mountain for over 30 million to Groningen, said Ola Toivonen to Sportbladet yesterday.

Now he is referring all questions to Malmö FF.

PSV heropent gesprekken over Toivonen


PSV gaat alsnog alles in het werk stellen om Ola Toivonen naar Eindhoven te halen. De club heeft een nieuw bod neergelegd bij Malmö FF en heeft de eerste gesprekken met de zaakwaarnemer van de aanvaller, Martin Dahlin, achter de rug.

Tegenover de Zweedse krant Expressen bevestigt Malmö-directeur Pelle Svensson de gesprekken. PSV ziet in Toivonen de ideale nieuwe centrumspits en hoopt hem zo snel mogelijk aan de selectie kunnen toevoegen. De Zweed moet naar verluidt ruim vier miljoen euro kosten.

Eerder raakten de onderhandelingen tussen PSV en Malmö nog in een impasse omdat vraag en aanbod ver uit elkaar lagen. Inmiddels liggen beide partijen dichter bij elkaar, al is er nog geen sprake van een naderend akkoord.
