Ik ben echt voorstander van een gescheiden lijst, in zoverre, dat je ergens een lijn trekt. Ik zelf heb dat bij 1990 gedaan. Het gaat mij om het ontdekken van films. Afgelopen jaar heb ik films uit andere lijsten bekeken en dan snap je ook de keuzes. Ik noem een Andrej Tarkovski. Pasolini, Fellini, Kurosawa, Bergman. Alemaal dingen waar je doorheenmoet en kunt waarderen. Neem een lijst van RuneRose, daar staan mss wel 25 films in die ik nog niet gezien heb. Dat houd ik dan in de gaten of ik ze ergens tegenkom. De schaduwlijst kan denk ik uitgroeien tot een must-see 250. Hetzelfde zou dan kunnen voor de nieuwere films. Ik zie voornamelijk de lijstjes van andere als tips. Ik weet niet hoe jullie dat zien ? Ik zag laatst nog Le Grande Illusion door een tip. Die moet er natuurlijk ook in. Bovendien franstalig, dan is iedereen weer blij. Als je beide lijsten zou combineren dan heb je een mooie lijst toch.

Ik vind niet dat je een grens moet stellen bij een bepaald jaartal. Er worden hier al tournaments gehouden op jaartal en decennia.
Daar kun je ook mooie films tussen vinden.

Uit alle tournaments haal ik films die ik nog wil zien of die me interessant lijken.

Dat puntensysteem is zo niet logisch he. Waarom zou de ene nummer 2 minder waard zijn dan de andere? Als het toch jou top 10 is, is nummer 9 toch niet 10 punten waard. Dan zou nummer één negen maal beter zijn.

Iemand met een lijst van 100 heeft in de meeste gevallen meer films gezien. En hoe meer films je hebt gezien, hoe waardevoller jouw oordeel natuurlijk is.

'Zogenaamd culturele films' kunnen ook heel leuk zijn hoor, ook voor niet-filmofielen.

Een grote 'oeps'! Ik bekeek zojuist mijn lijstje en kwam tot de ontdekking dat ik een fout gemaakt heb.

Die twee moeten eigenlijk omgedraaid worden, dus 'Raiders' hoort op 8 te staan en 'Crusade' op 3. Kan dit nog gecorrigeerd worden?

Hoe weet je dat die films 'vaag en cultureel' zijn, heb je ze allemaal gezien?

Dit is het lijstje die ik zo even uit de losse duim zuig:

Zouden er meer tussen kunnen maar ik kan er snel even geen bedenken.

Nouja, als ik films als Shaolin Soccer in iemands lijstje zie staan zie ik liever filmofiel-films

Bovendien vind ik het vreemd dat bij iemand die even vlug een top 10 neerflikkerd (met bijvoorbeeld 2x Pirates ot C.) de nr. 1 net zoveel punten krijgt als bij iemand die een top 100 geeft. Want met name die top 10 lijstjes zorgen ervoor dat bijvoorbeeld Pulp Fiction, LotR en Matrix enorm hoog komen te staan (waarmee ik niet zeg dat het kutfilms zijn ofzo).
