Ik heb eens een theorie gehoord dat tussen 1975 en 2000 bands zo lang moesten vechten voor een platencontract dat ze artistiek al volwassen waren tegen de tijd dat ze eindelijk aan hun debuutalbum toe waren. Beter dan dat debuutalbum werden ze dan ook niet. Tegenwoordig is het weer anders vanwege internet en MySpace enzo.

Klinkt als een aardige theorie, maar het enige voorbeeld dat ik even voorhanden heb is Living Colour met Vivid. Hoe dan ook, het nummer Cult of personality daarvan is super
