Scott and Stonebridge are striking back!
Former Strike Back front men Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester — now of Blindspot and Law & Order: SVU — are set to reprise their roles as Sgts. Damien Scott and Michael Stonebridge during Season 5 of the action-drama, which is currently unspooling Friday nights on Cinemax.
Specifically, the series vets will make special guest appearances on Friday, March 30 and then in the season finale airing April 6.
Rebooted a bit for its latest run, Strike Back currently stars Warren Brown, Roxanne McKee, Daniel MacPherson and Alin Sumarwata.

Section 20’s work isn’t done just yet: Strike Back will return for Season 6, Cinemax announced Tuesday.
The renewal comes ahead of the Season 5 finale, which will air on Friday, April 6.
The current season is a revamp of the original series, featuring the covert ops crew’s new recruits. These include Roxanne McKee (Dominion), Daniel MacPherson (The Shannara Chronicles), Warren Brown (Luther) and Alin Sumarwata (the Australian soap Neighbours).
“The rebirth of Strike Back has reestablished Cinemax as a destination for adrenalized, entertaining action series,” Kary Antholis, president of HBO Miniseries and Cinemax programming, said via statement.
The original Strike Back — starring Blindspot‘s Sullivan Stapleton and Law & Order: SVU‘s Philip Winchester — ended a four-season run in 2015,

Strike Back‘s Section 20 has a new CO, in the form of Jamie Bamber.
Cinemax announced on Thursday that Bamber, as well as English actress Yasemin Kay Allen, have boarded the cast for what the premium cabler calls Season 6. They join returning players Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson and Alin Sumarwata.
The Strike Back action picks back up with a Russian bomber crashing in the South China Sea, leading special-ops soldiers Thomas “Mac” McAllister (played by Brown), Samuel Wyatt (MacPherson) and Gracie Novin (Sumarwata) on a mission to investigate. There, they cross paths with Katrina Zarkova (played by Allen, far left in above photo), a rogue Russian operative with questionable loyalties.
Battlestar Galactica alum Bamber meanwhile will play Col. Alexander Coltrane, the new commanding officer who tasks Section 20 with chasing the stolen contents of the Russian jet across Southeast Asia. As they do so, they will face off against mercenary drug agents and terrifying warlords, uncovering a conspiracy that threatens to push the world to the brink of global conflict.
Roxanne McKee will not be returning this season as Captain Natalie Reynolds.
Production on the new season’s 10 episodes is currently underway, to be filmed entirely in Malaysia.
