Oh, en hoe werkt dat dan?
Het principe is vrij simpel: er wordt begonnen met een lijst van films die een gelijk aantal punten hebben. Vervolgens mag elke user één keer op dag twee minpunten en één pluspunt toekennen aan drie verschillende films. Als een film op 0 punten terecht komt, doet ie niet meer mee. De film die als laatste overblijft heeft gewonnen!
In dit geval heb ik de Imdb-top 250 van zondagavond 18 februari in vijf gelijke delen willekeurig opgedeeld. In de eerste poule zitten dus 50 films, die bij aanvang ieder 7 punten hebben gekregen. Vervolgens gaan we in de poulefase zo ver dat er 10 films overblijven (de overige 40 films zijn naar 0 punten gestemd). Na 5 poules strijden de 50 overgebleven films in de allesbeslissende finale . Tot zover de organisatie van de survivalgame!

Klinkt allemaal erg leuk! Zijn er nog andere huishoudelijke regels?
Nou niet hele strikte regels enzo, maar probeer bijvoorbeeld wel een beetje gevarieerd te stemmen. Elke dag -1 voor twee LotR-films en +1 voor Terminator 2 doen is niet echt heel tof ofzo. Je stemmen dienen ten opzichte van de vorige dag op minstens twee films verschillen. Je kunt dus wel telkens elke dag op dezelfde LotR-film stemmen. Verder mag je de lijst wel kopiëren bij het toekennen van de stemmen, maar ik vrees dat dat een zootje zou kunnen worden. Ik houd het in ieder geval apart bij in een kekke excelsheet en zal vrijwel elke dag een update plaatsen met de tussenstand .
En ohja ook hier geldt natuurlijk de welbekende tournamentregel: alleen stemmen op een film als je hem gezien hebt!

Wat vinden jullie? Zijn tien films die zich plaatsen voor de finale te weinig en eigenlijk dus ronduit pet? Mogelijk wil ik die kwalificatiegrens verschuiven naar 15 films, zodat de poulefase iets sneller verloopt en de allesbeslissende finale (met 75 ipv 50 films) iets langer. Zoals het er nu naar uitziet is het gelukkig niet zo dat een verdwaalde plusstem op een onbekendere film genoeg is om simpel te geplaatst te worden voor de finale. Elke deelnemer moet zich als het ware 'bewijzen' om goed genoeg te zijn om in de finale terecht te komen. Iemand hier bezwaren of opmerkingen over ?

Ik zie geen bezwaren tegen het voorstel om de kwalificatiegrens voor de finale naar 15 films te verschuiven. Dus dan weten jullie het allemaal bij deze dat dit is veranderd. Voor de rest denk ik dat het spel qua organisatie helemaal top is .
De tussenstand is weer erg verrassend. Cidade de Deus bezet nu de koppositie . Reservoir Dogs is overduidelijk de grote held uit deze poule: 22 minstemmen en 25 plusstemmen en nu op plek nummer 2 .

Oké, wat je dan krijgt is dat je vijf keer een 0,33 stem optelt bij de reeds bestaande stemmen. In het huidge systeem vliegt een film met 30 plus- en 40 minstemmen er uit, terwijl een film met 2 plus- en vier minstemmen er in blijft, hoewel 'ie volgens jouw systeem een hogere rating heeft. Dat komt niet eens door die 0,33, maar vooral door die 7. Wat je echter niet meeneemt is het feit dat plus- en minstemmen elkaar uitlokken. Kijk, ik vind Laberinto del Fauno niet de slechtste film uit de lijst, maar als 'ie op een gegeven moment op 10 komt is dat weer wat overdreven en geef ik 'm een min. Het omgekeerde gebeurde met sommige mensen en Terminator 2.
Heb ik nu een conclusie? Nee, niet echt... je zou het systeem kunnen synchroniseren met jouw ratings door met minder stemmen dan 7 te beginnen, maar dat heeft ook zo z'n nadelen.

Mjah, geen enkel systeem is tot nu toe perfect. Met een lager beginaantal van stemmen, krijg je trouwens dat films helemaal snel eruit gestemd kunnen worden. Reservoir Dogs had het dan misschien niet gehaald .
De kan-het-wel-hebben-tactiek is eigenlijk een hele slechte tactiek natuurlijk en El Laberinto del Fauno is daar lijkt me wel slachtoffer van geworden. Je moet gewoon minstemmen uitdelen aan de films die je echt het slechtst vindt. Alleen ging dat bij mij en Mainport bijvoorbeeld erg lastig tijdens de laatste 3 dagen van deze poule, omdat we niet alle films gezien hadden .

Oke, volgens mij is het 8 punten. Om een of andere reden had ik weer een minstem bij 12 Angry Men ipv bij 2001 ASO (die na Mike's stemmen vijf punten heeft) op gezet.
