iPhone dev team released anySIM 1.1 for iPhone firmware 1.1.1 a few seconds last night. And they pulled it down quickly. The hackint0sh forum currently is also not that stable, so we cannot found any further information. We download the leaked file and we found no difference from anySIM 1.0.2. But, notice the bottom left hand corner, you can read this leaked anySIM 1.1 is for 04.01.13_G (which is iPhone 1.1.1). Great job, iPhone dev team. That is fast and impressive.

If you are “lucky” to download the leaked program, don’t try it yet. It may cause serious problem. Just be patient and wait for iPhone dev team official release.

He will report this (he asked me if he can and I don't care because I may go for an "official" T-Mobile iPhone too for various reasons) to his boss who was just expecting the material to prepare the T-Punkt shops for the iPhone introduction.

Sorry guys, if you want the easy way...wait for the GUI and updated INdependence/Apptapp versions, latest end of this month everything should be up and running smoothly, waiting for ROUND 3 with Apple.

Well, well... looks like Apple has been backed into a corner by French law and will be releasing an unlocked iPhone in France after all. While no one will say precisely how much the unlocked iPhone will cost (the locked Orange-network iPhone will cost ¤399) those details are expected to be announced sometime before the November 29 launch. Of course, the law that forbids the exclusive bundling of any phone to a carrier is not unique to France. As such, we can expect a glut of unlocked iPhones in the coming months as deals are struck throughout Europe and Asia. Hear that AT&T, O2 and T-Mobile haters? Your nefarious unlocking efforts are about to get a whole lot easier (and more expensive). bron

Preparing the iPhone for a jailbroken update
Performing a software update, leaving you with a jailbroken v1.1.1
Forcing v1.1.1 to mount read-write so you can access it
Installing SSH and BSD world
Activating with a Non-ATT SIM (not necessary if you use AT&T)
Patching SpringBoard to allow third-party applications
Clean-up

NB: zelf geen ervaring met 1.1.1, wel met 1.02: 1 telefoon gebricked met een mislukte HW-unlock, hoop geklooi en gestress en 3 dagen later was de softwareunlock er
Was vervolgens een nieuw commboard voor nodig om 'm te fixen, wegens verneukte baseband, dus neem van mij aan dat je beter geduld kunt hebben
