Van zijn Piano werken is eigenlijk alleen the Köln Concert echt geweldig. Dat is echt Keith op zijn hoogtepunt...Die andere pianoconcerten van hem kan ik ook niet echt optimaal waarderen...Vooral te vlak inderdaad...In Koln zit gewoon zo'n ongelooflijke emotie en spanningsboog...Het verveelt me ook gewoon nooit...En die kreuntjes...normaalgesproken irritant, maar in dit concert maken ze het des te beterquote:Op woensdag 3 januari 2007 19:52 schreef JAM het volgende:

Ik heb dan naast Koln ook vooral zijn Keith Jarret Trio/Quartet albums erin vermeldt waarin ook de saxofoons en bass erg goed aanwezig zijn...Maar Jarret is voornamelijk lees-muziek of de wat rustigere chill muziek..Behalve Koln...die kan ik altijd wel luisteren...
Tokio vind ik zelf dan ook niet goed inderdaad. Ik had nog wel Carnegie Hall en Bremen/Lausanne in mijn top 5 staan omdat die me nog wel konden bekoren maar concerten als Vienna, Tokio etc. zijn zelfs een beetje vervelend
Trio albums als Nude Ants, Somewhere Before en Quartet albums als Survivors Suite zijn wel de moeite waard...Ach..Check mijn top 50 maar als je wilt weten wat ik je zou willen aanraden
