MTM Bimoto is the latest project from the company in German city of Wettstetten ? and the until now far most spectacular. When you pass the car at the show you first of all notice the colour, then perhaps the not very big rear wing and the fine looking wheels.

But when you take closer look you... ?hi, what?s that? Right below the rear window is another engine, a beautiful sight just like in a Ferrari 360 Modena. But this is not enough; the yellow MTM is still running with the original engine up front. That makes two engines developing 326 bhp each.

MTM founder Roland Mayer explains:

Perhaps the idea with two engines seems daring, but the design has a lot of advantages to others constructions. The alternative to this twin engine would be a biturbo V8 midengine, which is a much more complicated and expensive re design of the car.

Another main idea is to keep the car easy-handling thanks to four-wheel drive and weight distribution?, explains Mr. Mayer.
