Artwork for 10,000 Days (album mini)
mini? Anywya, als dat 't artwork wordt ben ik teleurgesteld iig. Alhoewel, moet 'm natuurlijk wel even in m'n handen hebben voordat ik een echt oordeel kan geven.

Ik vind dat 'TOOL' bovenop die artwork veel te veel op 'FOOL' lijken...
Lijkt ook in geen velden of wegen op het logo dat ergens eind vorig jaar voorop de toolband.com website gekomen is.

Lijkt ook in geen velden of wegen op het logo dat ergens eind vorig jaar voorop de toolband.com website gekomen is.

Het artwork interesseert me eigenlijk niet zo. Het probleem is dat kunst tijdsgebonden is, in het ene tijdperk is het helemaal te wow, 5 jaar later vraagt iedereen zich af of de artiest 50 jaar in het verleden is blijven hangen.
Beter kunnen ze bij Tool gewoon rond zich heen kijken en artwork kiezen dat ze het beste bij hun muziek vinden passen. Niet een soort huis-artiest gebruiken, gewoon all options open. Tenzij die huis-artiest natuurlijk juist degene is die het meest bij de muziek past .

Just one last thing for now: I’ve been reading many of the comments on the TA message board (as well as those flooding my in-box) about this particular piece of cover art, and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate some of your personal thoughts and perceptive insight into the symbology and deeper levels of the striking imagery. It seems that a few of you (those who have commented on the artwork) are also anticipating ‘the bigger picture’ – that which you’ve become accustomed to over the years when it comes to Tool’s art direction. Well, to you, I will only say that you will not be disappointed… and that the key is right there before your very eyes.

Nou ik oordeel pas als ik de hele package in mijn hand heb. En ik vind het wel een erg gave tekening, zit veel in als je langer kijkt.

Ik vind het er wel leuk uitzien. Dat logo is een beetje (te) hip en strak voor Tool heb ik het idee.

Grappig trouwens, zowel TOOL als Deftones staan op pinkpop. Een kansje dat Maynard ff langskomt om Passenger te zingen? Zou vet zijn...
