IDO Idols III
Is het nou kattengejank of een gouden keeltje? Welkom bij het Idols III forum.
Op maandag 6 maart vindt in studio 22 in Hilversum de 'Day Before Sterrenparty' plaats. Alle dertien oorspronkelijke finalisten laten hier nog een keer hun talent zien en brengen hun favoriete nummers ten gehore. Het publiek kan bij dit 'concert' gratis naar binnen: wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst maalt. De eerste 1400 Idols-fans mogen op vertoon van de zogenaamde Idols-ster naar binnen om dit spektakel bij te wonen. Deze sterrenparty is terug te zien in het programma Idols, The Day Before op vrijdag 10 maart, één dag voor de finale tussen 20.30 en 21.30 uur bij RTL 4.
Zaterdag 4 maart wordt in de halve finale van Idols bekend wie de twee finalisten zijn. In deze aflevering zingen de kandidaten drie nummers.
Nadat zij de drie nummers hebben gezongen (een keuze van de jury, een keuze van het publiek en hun eigen keuze) blijven er twee dames over. Een dag later trekken de finalisten per bus het land in. Zo worden zij onder andere ontvangen in hun woonplaats, ontmoeten zij hun fans voor een signeersessie en zijn zij 's avonds te gast in het RTL-programma Life & Cooking.
In de week die volgt hebben de finalisten nog verschillende interviews en televisie-optredens. Hun voornaamste opdracht is de voorbereiding op de grote finale op zaterdag 11 maart. Hierin zingen de dames nummers die zij al eerder hebben gezongen. Het publiek bepaalt uiteindelijk wie de winnaar is.
