Niet eens zo'n slecht idee, maar dan nog heb ik het liever als download op de PS3. En dan maybe compatible met MP3tjes
. Met name omdat ik niet echt van plan ben een PSP te halen

Dus toch 2007quote:SPOnG can reveal that Sony currently plans to launch the PlayStation 3 into Europe in March of 2007, some 12 months or so behind what some optimistic gamers had hoped for.
Let us be clear, we have no lead as to when the new machine will be launched in Japan or the US (recent reports suggest September), though the date of March next year for Europe seems to be official Sony policy at time of press, disseminated to third-party developers, publishers and retail in the past week.
It would appear that Sony Computer Entertainment has briefed partners in all territories as to its launch plans in the last week, resulting no doubt in the series of leaks cropping up on-line. Our information comes from SCEE documentation leaked last week and independently corroborated by two publishing sources, a handful of developers and a leading pan-European retailer. The brief issued by Sony was, seemingly, too tempting a news piece not to leak, almost as soon as it was released.
As to how the European gaming community will react to the PlayStation 3 launching so late remains to be seen. A territory traditionally enduring the shitty end of the stick had its expectations lifted by Microsoft with the launch of the Xbox 360. The Revolution is also expected to ship across the globe with little delay between the expected Japanese debut and final European release. It looks certain that Sony will again ship its new machine a whopping six months after gamers in Japan have queued overnight in eager anticipation for day one gaming.
It is currently unknown when Sony plans on making public the briefs handed out over the past week, though it is expected that Japanese and US launch plans will be disclosed at E3, with the European date pushed back, as seen during the recent release of the PSP. The point to remember is that late launches have not hampered any SCEE release to date, so it makes perfect sense to establish a healthy userbase in Japan and The States while letting European expectation (desperation) build to ensure another massively successful launch.
We'd appreciate your thoughts in the forum below.

quote:Sony remains closed-mouth about an official date, but Next Generation is reporting the PS3 will hit the market in September. The site also reports that the new PlayStation HUB will offer PS3 owners a lot of the same services Xbox Live provides, including demo downloading, online play and chat.
The HUB is suggested to be a subscriber service and will possibly offer delivery of all kinds of media, including music and movies. This would give Sony its own iTunes type service.
But, the real news here is the next-gen console release. Despite some posted Oct. 1 release dates for some major PS3 titles, Next Generation’s report says September is the month to watch for the console.
A launch games release schedule seen by our sources states a September launch. Although the schedule does not explicitly state a hardware launch date, nor a launch territory, we understand Japan and U.S will both see the machine in September.
Some in the industry have taken this as a lead to speculate that September 16 would be a launch date in Japan (a Saturday before a national holiday) followed by September 21 in the U.S. These dates are not confirmed and, as always, launch dates are subject to constant revision.
A spokesperson for SCEA said the company does not comment on rumors. However, we understand Sony is preparing to announce HUB some time in the next few weeks.

Taipei, Taiwan - Sony says it is not ready to release the new PlayStation 3 video-game system just yet.
A top Sony executive says the consumer electronics giant has not decided when it will begin marketing the much awaited upgrade to the popular console. It's expected to be released this spring.
The managing director of Sony Computer Entertainment Asia tells reporters at the Taipei Game Show the company wants to be completely prepared when it begins selling PlayStation 3. He stops sort of saying when that will be.
Released late last year in the US, Microsoft's rival system, the X-box 360 debuts in Taiwan next month. Nintendo is also releasing a new console, called Revolution, this year.
The Sony executive says a major concern is counterfeiters and the company is working with governments to limit knock-offs.
