Even iets anders, heeft iemand dat filmpje van die de Rooy Daf met 2 motoren die die Peugeot voorbij stuift met 200 km/h?
Mja ik ben er niet blij mee, maar in principe heeft de organisatie gelijk als de trucks niet voldoen aan de papieren/homologatie dan hebben ze alle recht om ze te weigeren....

Wat ik er zo met men halve frans uit lees is dat ze om 15:20 te horen hebben gekregen dat ze niet mee mochten doen en dat ze daarna nog een uur hadden om beroep aan te tekenen.

maar als dat 15:20 local time is dat betekent dat dat voor ons 16:20 local time was, en dat ze dus tot 17:20 (NL tijd) de tijd hadden om beroep aan te tekenen. Nu dus een uur geleden.

For these reasons, a jury of officials has decided after speaking to the competitors that based on a part of article 25.4 of the rule book as well as the whole of article 25P1 « every vehicle that is not in conformity can’t be cleared to start the rally. (decision of the jury of sporting officials) ». Article 25P2 B must also be taken into consideration. This decision was announced to the competitors at 15h20 and they now have an hour to appeal.

Administrative checks and scrutineering will take place on 28, 29 and 30 December 2005 at the Belem Cultural Centre in Lisbon.

On leaving administrative checks, competitors will receive a c

Competitors having passed through administrative checks on 28/12 or 29/12 must leave their vehicles in the waiting parc and present themselves the next day at 08.00 for technical scrutineering.
Vehicles must be presented at technical scrutineering, with the various mounting brackets, cables and aerials of the different
safety equipment already fitted, ready to receive these systems (GPS, Sentinel, Iritrack). Failure to do so will result in a penalty of 150 Euros per item of equipment not installed.
Vehicles must be presented to scrutineering ready to race, except for those competitors who have been asked by the organisers to present their vehicles with empty fuel tanks (maximum 5 litres) on pain of 30 minutes of penalties. No interventions will be authorised
between the end of scrutineering and entry into the Parc Ferme, except for competitors designated by the organisation, who will be allowed to refuel on coming out of scrutineering.
All vehicles which appear not to conform, or are not adapted to rally norms, during scrutineering may either be forced to change group or be refused a start (on decision of the College of Sporting Stewards).
In the last case the entry fees will remain the property of the organisers.
On coming out of scrutineering all vehicles will be placed in parc ferme. It will be authorised to cover vehicles with transparent
covers only, at night time or in the case of bad weather.
During administrative checks a compulsory course on safety, the GPS, and Iritrack will be given. All absence will incur a penalty of 500 Euros.

Je begrijpt het niet. De verbeteringen zijn wél regelementair, zoals al gechecked in nederland. Er is alleen geen homologatie. Dat is wat anders. Ze hebben geprobeerd om door de nieuwe dingen eraf te slopen de trucks nog door te krijgen voor de oude homologatie, dus zoals ze vorig jaar aan de start stonden.
