This is immense really, its practically their debut seeing as the first single was a short run, they are at Number one, and from what i've heard on the grapevine they've managed to retain it to the midweeks.

I personally hate them, they were shit when i saw them, they were the same at Reading. Alex Turner is an arrogant prick and the bassist is fat, the hype NME have bestowed upon them is mindboggling (ex. Best new band of all time).

ps. the demos. totally legal like, cause they distributed them themselves.
