Artist info:
Black Devil Disco Club:
Black Devil is mysterious Frenchman Bernard Fevre. In October he will release his new album (after 28 years) and this will be his first ever live concert!. Last year the Black Devil reappeared in the spotlight after Aphex Twin paid a big amount of money for an original copy of his 1st album on Ebay which he re-released on his Rephlex label. All the music and fashion magazines were raving about this re-release of the very rare album. Black Devil fans are everywhere and include Luke Vibert, Morgan Geist, Lindstrom, James Holden, I-f and many others. This promises to be a legendary performance!
Egyptian Lover:
Egyptian lover doesn't really need an introduction...
He is recognized as one of the best dj’s and the master of the 808 drum machine. In the 80’s he played with Dr Dre, Arabian Prince and Ice T at parties in LA drawing crowds of 15.000 and more. Egyptian lover did an amazing European debut show at the previous Clone party. But somehow some fans where a little bit disappointed that he didn’t bring his 808 for that show! During a Clone party in L.A. this spring he pulled his 808 out of his white BMW trunk and did an amazing jam…so therefore we asked him to do the special 808 jam again…and so will be done!
Farley Jackmaster Funk:
First made name broadcasting on Chicago's WBMX-FM as a member of the Hotmix 5 DJ team. Farley also appeared at the Warehouse club and then began a residency at the Playground club in Chicago. He created the first house single to reach the UK charts. His anthem Love Can't Turn Around made it into the Top Ten in mid-1986. But beside the hit he also made legendary house tracks using different project names which are still being played by all the big house and techno dj’s. The recordings from the WBMX radio shows and his dj sets in Chicago are now true collectors items and inspire many house and disco fans all over the world (Google will find you some great mixes!). Farley is just about to re-released on the new Clone Sub Label (Clone Classic Cuts) a true gem from his Reggie The Movemaker project.
Serge:
The founder of Clone. At this special R.E.M.F. Clone Party he will present his new mix album called Vintage Future. This album includes tracks by the Black Devil Disco Club (previously unreleased), Egyptian lover…and you guessed it… Farley Jackmaster Funk! But also tracks by Dexter vs Marco Passarani, Alden Tyrell, Legowelt, Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dunn, Lindström The Hasbeens and others. Serge is plays his fine blend of old and new Techno, Electro, Disco and House all over the place.
