Carlisle win 11-10 on penalties
Carlisle progressed to the LDV Vans Trophy Northern section semi-finals in nailbiting fashion after beating Tranmere 10-11 on penalties.
The first 20 kicks were all successful but Tranmere keeper Stve Wilson then fired wide leaving Simon Grand to win it for the Cumbrians.
Tranmere's Delroy Facey struck the bar with a 52nd minute cross while Glenn Murray hit the woodwork for Carlisle.
But little else in normal and extra-time had suggested such a climax.

11-10. Waarschijnlijk hebben dus enkele spelers 2 penalties moeten nemen

Tuurlijk wel.
Op dit niveau kunnen ze echt niet 21 penalties op rij raakschieten hoor![]()

Brunton Park's biggest attendance of the season - 11,000 - saw Carlisle held by Darlington, a side they have failed to beat in their last 14 meetings.
They went ahead on the half hour when Danny Livesey was held down by Shelton Morris and Chris Lumsdon sent Bertrand Bossu the wrong way from the spot.
Darlington levelled with their first chance, Simon Johnson free six yards out to head in Carlos Logan's cross.
Jonjo Dickman then dragged a golden late chance wide for the visitors. (BBC Sport)
