Junior was born four weeks premature weighing 5lb 13oz.

At the time Andre said: 'He's beautiful and healthy and looks just like me. We are the happiest people in the world.'

The couple plan to marry in September.

Jordan and Peter Andre are the latest celebrities to lumber their offspring with an unusual name.

Junior Andre may seem a cute name for a little boy - whether he will appreciate it when he reaches adulthood is a different matter.

Stars can also name their kids after their musical idols (Liam Gallagher's son Lennon, Cindy Crawford's son Presley), a favourite author (Cate Blanchett's son Dashiell) or a place (Madonna's daughter Lourdes, Kim Basinger's daughter Ireland).

Other celebrity offenders include Jamie and Jools Oliver (Daisy Boo and Poppy Honey), Demi Moore and Bruce Willis (Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Belle) and Changing Rooms designer Anna Ryder Richardson (Dixie Dot and Bibi Belle). But having an unusual name can be torture for a celebrity's child. Just ask Peaches Geldof.

'Why do the rich and famous give their children such ridiculous names?' the daughter of Bob Geldof and the late North Wales TV star Paula Yates wrote last year.
'Mine has haunted me all my life.'
The teenager said she was teased mercilessly at school with cries of: 'Oi, Peaches, are your parents bananas?'
Still, it could have been worse: 'I was going to be called Angel Delight at one point, so I suppose I can count myself lucky."

Peaches' sisters have similarly bizarre monikers - Fifi Trixibelle, Pixie and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, the latter born to Yates and INXS singer Michael Hutchence.

Some stars choose normal names for some of their kids and strange ones for others.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson gave her first son the reasonably sensible name Flynn - then followed it up with a second boy called Aurelius Cy.

And U2 frontman Bono has children called Jordan, Eve, John - and Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q.

Het gonst nog steeds van de geruchten rond het vermeende koppeltje Angelina Jolie en Brad Pitt. Het is nog steeds niet officieel bevestigd dat ze wat met elkaar hebben, maar tóch doen de eerste berichten over een zwangerschap de ronde.

Volgens de New York Post is Angelina drie maanden geleden al bevrucht door Brad. Het stel zou dit nieuws nog even ‘low profile’ houden, totdat de mediastorm rond hen is gaan liggen. Voorlopig is dat nog niet het geval, want naar aanleiding van dit laatste bericht is Angelina’s woordvoerder overladen met honderden telefoontjes en e-mails.

Dit weekend is Brad ook gespot in een maïsveld vlakbij Angelina’s huis. Hij was daar aan het spelen met haar geadopteerde zoontje Maddox.
Drie jaar geleden verklaarde Angelina nog dat ze een kind adopteren verkiest boven de natuurlijke manier. Maar wellicht heeft Brads maïskolfje haar op andere gedachten gebracht.

People magazine announced yesterday that Michelle Branch has given birth to a 7lb 12oz baby girl named Owen, and is resting comfortably in a Los Angeles hospital.
