Barely ten days after commenting that he would love Thierry Henry at Barcelona, Ronaldinho once again spoke of his admiration for the French forward, and made no secret of his wish to pair up with him.
In an interview given to ’Sports Monthly’, the Brazilian was quoted as saying: "I am no authority to speak of signings, but by the quality he possesses, and the friendship that we share, it would be perfect that Thierry came to Barcelona." He further went on to say: "The style he possesses is almost tailor-made to play in Barcelona."

The signing of Henry has the all important approval of coach Rijkaard, who recently mentioned that the Frenchman interested him. Henry also shares a good relationship with President Joan Laporta from the latter’s days with Nike.

Many believe he is getting increasingly frustrated by Arsenal’s failures in Europe, and could fancy a move to the Nou Camp, especially following the Ashley Cole controversy, as well as Wenger’s recent comments regarding his own future with the club.
Another factor working in favour is that Barcelona need a star signing to deflect the attention from the ongoing boardroom crisis, which has seen vice-president Sandro Rossel and loyalists resign from the board.
Henry is seen by Barcelona as the perfect signing, for sporting, marketing, and political reasons.

The stumbling block are obviously Arsenal, who are unwilling to let go of their star, and have reportedly already rejected two bids from Barcelona (worth 18 and 28 million Pounds respectively).
They have since put a 50 million Pound price-tag on him to ward off approaches, but it is almost inevitable that Barcelona will test them again before too long, in what could yet be the biggest transfer story this season.

Dingsdag naar Helmond Sport is echt onzin hoor. Die kon naar de Bundesliga inderdaad. Dan ga je echt niet naar Helmond Sport.

Hoe oud is Henry dan? lijkt mij dat ze bij Arsenal het behoorlijk door hebben met het kopen van jonge veel belofende spelers zoals van persie, flamini etc. dus een transfer van Henry zit d'r wel in.
Het zal dit jaar nog niet worden maar misschien volgend jaar wel.
en als ik quincy owusu-abeye(spelling) zo zie spelen als gister zal het Arsenal publiek henry snel vergeten.
