Stop the sarcasm!, April 26, 2005

I am so tired of reading mocking reviews of

's albums.
Someone needs to seriously review his works and as a true fan, no irony, no mock liking, I am the man for that particular job.

's album is an eclectic mix of tender love songs, inspiring power ballads and uplifting rock numbers.
Each song has its own special energy and listening to this album takes you on something of an emotional rollercoaster.
I cannot go into each song here as I would end up writing a very long review indeed, but highlights for me include [...], an uplifting song which makes you feel capable of achieving anything, and [...], a sad song which touches my own lonely heart too too closely.
I think it is very sad that these songs are mocked for being too "80's" or "uncool" or whatever it is the kids say about them. A man gets up and sings from his heart and soul and people merely laugh at him. This world is far too cynical.
Verdict: Remarkable

No, dear reader, it certainly does NOT get any better than this!
I've read the other reviews here of this album and I know that one or two of the good reviews are people just being sarcastic.

I INSTANTLY fell in love (not in a gay way)with the music and went out the next day and bought my own copy of this album. Gretchen may now be long gone from my life, but I'll always be thankful to her for turning me on to this wonderful music.
I still listen to this cd at least once a week. A great time to play it is right before I have a date. I'll put the cd on and then stand in front of my mirror and lip sync to the songs. I pretend that I'm

! At that point I'm totally oozing charm and coolness and I'm ready for my date - or anything that the world can throw at me!
There's not a lot of music than can affect people like that. Buy this cd and you'll know what I'm talking about.
P.S. - Thank you,
