Scoggin-Dickey 350ci/465hp ZZ430
![]()
This engine is based on the limited-production ZZ430 that GMPP offered several years ago. Scoggin-Dickey knew the original unit was one heck of a stout piece, so they looked for areas of improvement. After going through the entire engine they found the power they were looking for. When 430 hp isn’t enough, Scoggin-Dickey offers a thumper version with an even larger cam, 1.6 rockers, and Air Gap intake manifold. These improvements allow it to produce a whopping 465 hp. In our test Nova, these power figures equate to 12.50 at 111 mph. This kind of power out of a pump gas 350ci motor is pretty impressive. The 465hp ZZ430 is the perfect engine for someone looking to build a powerful street machine.
