The Miura SV was the last "official" model Miura produced. We say this because many customers had their cars uprated to Jota specs by the factory although this was not a production version. The SV was first shown in March 1971 at the Geneva show.

The engine was tweeked further with the SV. Different can timing, bigger valves and altered carbs increased fuel consumption so much that the factory offered a larger 110 litre fuel tank as an option. Horsepower increased to 385bhp at 7850rpm but torque remained at 286 blsft at 5000rpm.

On the outside the most noticable difference would have to be the absense of the eyelashes surrounding the headlights. The SV benefitted from new nine inch wheels and Pirelli Cinturato FR70VR-15 tires. This neccessitated the slight widening of the rear fenders.
