Zelfhulpgroep dvd-verslaving

Ik ben pdxnet96, 32 jaar en ...... hoehboehoe hoe snik snik snotter...

Ik ben begonnen met een simpele dvd speler, maar ik wilde meer, toen ging hem via glas aansluiten op mijn versterker.. 5.1 ja 5.1 Dolby digital en later ook DTS. en toen en toen ging ik er ook nog nieuwe speakers bij kopen en toen had ik er opeens 7 en toen toen van de week een nieuwe versterker gekocht... een ........ eh euhm 7.1 ....

Ohw ik ben zo slecht ik weet het maaarr ik kan er niks aan doehoehoehoen......

Tis met mij zelfs zo erg dat ik niet eens meer post in een topic waarvan de TS geen Alien head heeft....

Hallo ik ben Hostimeister en ben 21 jaar oud,
bij mij is de verslaving zo erg dat als ik van het station naar de bus loop ik omloop omdat ik anders langs de FRS moet... Elke keer als ik bij de Van Leest of de FRS naar binnen loop weet ik zeker dat ik eruit loop met minstens 1 nieuwe dvd (meestal 3 voor de prijs van 33euro).

Ik ben Rolf en ik ben verslaafd.

Ik heb in een jaar tijd een kast vol met 100+ films bij elkaar gekocht. En dan begin ik maar niet over alle tv series die ik heb gekocht. Ik heb alleen nog geen surround set... oh maar ... zie ik daar een spaarrekening??!?!

Ik ben beelz, 22 jaar en heb alle versies van Army of darkness liggen. De boxsets zijn ook te aanwezig. Het begon met gewoon een dvdtje. En toen nog 1 en nog 1 en dat werden er later meer en meer. En nu kan ik een boxset die ik zie en nog niet heb niet laten liggen. Zelfs al zijn de films erin compleet kut. Zoals laatst nog bij de Albert Heijn. Ik loop daar en zie een doos met dvdfilms voor 19 euro. 20 films! Nou die kan je niet laten liggen ook al zijn het allemaal films die je haat. Ook ben ik verplicht om elke maand minimaal 1 Army of Darkness action figure te kopen of is dat een ander topic?

Wat een geweldig iniatief dit

Mijn naam is Sander. Ik ben 24 jaar en een beginnend dvd-verslaafde. Ik weet al niet eens meer waar en hoe het begon. Een van mijn eerste dvd's was in ieder geval Clerks. Een matige uitvoering met ingebrande ondertitels. Daar zou ik me nu uiteraard niet meer mee aan de kassa durven te vertonen.
In het begin ging het eigenlijk niet zo snel met mijn dvd's. Tot ik op een gegeven moment een creditcard kreeg en een vast salaris. Toen ik ook nog ontdekte dat het toch wel erg cool is om bepaalde oude titels op dvd te hebben, of titels die je niet in de videotheek kunt vinden, was ik niet meer te stoppen.
Ondertussen koop ik ook al nieuwe titels op dvd.

Met ook nog eens meer dan 500 audiocd's en een zooi boeken ben ik een echte multimediajunk. Dat ik daarnaast ook nog eens (tijdelijk) werkzaam ben in een mediatheek geeft al voldoende informatie over mijn volkomen labiele geestegesteldheid.
Maar momenteel zijn het vooral de dvd's. Die vervloekte, zilverkleurige schijfjes die over 5 jaar alweer hopeloos verouderd zullen zijn, maar die toch keer op keer in mijn koopgen weten door te dringen, als een vlijmscherpe zilveren smartbomb.

Dus ja, ik geeft het toe: ik ben een dvd-verslaafde....!!!!

Met inmiddels een de duizend naderende cd-collectie, kasten met boeken vol en een games-speler kon ik die DVD-addiction er nog goed bij hebben

Gelukkig ben ik doorgewinterd door de cd's, en besef ik een beetje dat je niet alles kunt of moet willen hebben...

Niettemin loop ik minstens drie keer per week in het dorp in de diverse DVD-schappen te neuzen, loop met een stapel richting kassa (nooit vind je net die ene DVD, er zijn er altijd veel), vervolgens aarzel ik, zet er een paar terug, loop weer naar de kassa met een paar, besluit dan die ene nog eff om te ruilen voor die andere. En zet ze dan maar allemaal terug en loop verdrietig naar huis. Onvoldaan. Hoe sterk het ook is.

en ik koop ze, keer op keer
eén dvd is toch niet genoeg!
dus in plaats van zuipen in de kroeg
of andere manieren om te spenderen
koop ik dvd's, alle godganse keren

Ik gooi duiten over de balk
en met een tas vol dvd's zwalk
ik daarna beeldbezopen naar huis
om te genieten van beeld zonder ruis
de perfecte kwaliteit van den dvd
doet mij genieten en maakt mij tevree

maar nadat de roes is uitgewerkt
wordt alleen de angst weer versterkt
enkel met dvd's wil ik niet sterven
maar in plaats van te zwerven
door de onvrede in mijn brein
zet ik maar weer een dvd op en denk: zo zal het wel moeten zijn...

Ik doe alleen nog aan TV-series op DVD (en heel soms een S.E. van een film).
Maar ja, kost nog steeds handenvol geld.
