Corporations, the rulers of the world?
Met de stelling Corporations, the rulers of the world wil ik een discussie starten over wie de werkelijke macht hebben in de wereld en in hoeverre deze machten invloed hebben op de politiek en ons wereldbeeld.
Door de geschiedenis heen is er altijd al een verschil geweest tussen arm en rijk, het gewone volk en de elite. Er is altijd maar een klein groepje elite geweest die de landen bestuurden en het volk onder de duim hield. Er zijn in al die tijd verschillende vormen van regeren geweest, Al deze vormen van regeren hebben een ding met elkaar gemeen, ze hebben allemaal een manier nodig om het gewone volk bezig te houden, te zorgen dat er geen onrust ontstaat en dat het politieke systeem in stand kan worden gehouden. De dictatuur gebruikt hiervoor geweld en inzet van de politie of het leger om te controleren wat het volk doet. Bij democratie kan men tot op zekere hoogte geweld gebruiken, maar aangezien het volk veel vrijer is werkt dit in de meeste gevallen tegen de gevestigde orde. Daarom is het bij democratie veel belangrijker dat men controleert wat het volk denkt. Als de leiders kunnen controleren wat er in de gedachten van het volk leeft hoeft men namelijk ook niet bang te zijn dat er mensen in opstand komen tegen de gevestigde orde, die gedachte komt immers niet voor.
Ik zal in dit topic proberen aan te tonen dat kapitalisme en democratie in de westerse landen een vorm van controle over de bevolking gebruikt om de belangen van de elite te behartigen. Ik zal proberen aan te tonen hoe dit ontstaan is en hoe het kapitalisme kan leiden dat de vrije marktwerking en privé-instellingen ervoor zorgen dat de politiek steeds meer gedreven en uiteindelijk bepaald wordt door de rijke elite en de economie van een land. Het gaat hierbij voornamelijk over voorbeelden van Amerika omdat daar gewoon de meeste informatie over te vinden is.
Ik wil met dit topic een wat breder publiek bereiken en mensen aanzetten tot denken over de gevestigde orde, de manier waarop het volk aan haar informatie komt, waar deze informatie vandaan komt en hoe deze informatie wordt verwerkt en beoordeelt. Om deze theorieën te ondersteunen zal ik met verschillende informatiebronnen komen waaronder, geluidsfragmenten, documentaires, documenten en websites. Dit was dus slechts de inleiding tot de daadwerkelijke stellingen en posts die hieronder volgen.
Ik zou iedereen die hierover mee wil discussiëren wel vriendelijk willen verzoeken om een constructieve bijdrage te leveren en eerst te lezen en zelf ook wat onderzoek te doen voordat men post.

Internationale bankiers en de rijke elite controleren de economie en daardoor ook het beleid van regeringen, ze zijn als het ware de schaduwregering die invloed uit kan oefenen door het uitlenen of terugnemen van uit het niets gecreëerd geld. De grote banken en bedrijven zijn privé-instellingen waar de overheid nauwelijks tot geen controle over heeft. Ze financieren verkiezingscampagnes en brengen de voor hun juiste kandidaten naar voren. Het financieren van de campagnes van zowel landelijke als de staten verkiezingen zorgen er voor dat de regeringen door middel van politieke beslissingen de belangen van de bankiers en grote bedrijven behartigen. De Federal Reserve zorgt ervoor dat de overheid geld kan lenen waardoor de staatsschuld oploopt waar de belastingbetaler voor betaald. Hoe hoger de staatsschuld hoe meer er aan rente betaald moet worden en hoe minder de staatsschuld afbetaald kan worden. De Federal Reserve is een instelling in handen van privé eigenaren die miljarden aan leningen hebben uitstaan waarmee ze de overheid in de tang hebben. Het kapitaal wat deze privé-instellingen aan rente krijgen per jaar en de grote invloed die ze hebben d.m.v. hun banken maakt deze mensen tot de rijkste en machtigste in de wereld.

Dit is de meest uitgebreide documentaire over geld en banken die ik heb kunnen vinden. Het gaat o.a. om banken en de elite die de controle over het uitgeven en terugnemen van geld heeft en daardoor ook grote invloed in de economie van het land. Deze film geeft een verklaring voor de inflatie en het steeds groter wordende schuldbedrag van de landen die dit banksysteem hebben. Het gaat o.a. om banken en de elite die de controle over het uitgeven en terugnemen van geld heeft en daardoor ook grote invloed in de economie van het land. Deze film geeft een verklaring voor de inflatie en het steeds groter wordende schuldbedrag van de landen die dit banksysteem hebben. Het legt uit wat de Federal Reserve is, hoe het ontstaan is en wat de macht van deze privé-instelling is. Hier wordt voor de eerste keer van de documentaires gesuggereerd dat de internationale bankiers en elite eigenaar zijn van de media. The Power of the Media
Stelling
De media maakt voor veel mensen een onderdeel uit van hun leven. Als men, moe van het werk, aan het einde van de dag eindelijk thuis gekomen is, gaat men meestal eerst eten en dan s’avonds nog even het nieuws kijken en misschien daarna nog een film of tv show. De mainstream media in de V.S. is in door de jaren heen in steeds minder handen gekomen. Nu zijn er nog maar 6 grote bedrijven (eigenaren) over die de complete mainstream media in de V.S. in handen hebben. Deze grote corporaties hebben ook nog eens allemaal aandelen van elkaar.
De commerciële media verdient haar geld met abonnementen en reclame-inkomsten. De reclame-inkomsten zorgen voor het grootste deel van de inkomsten van de grote mediacorporaties. Dit betekent dat hoe meer kijkcijfers hoe meer kans er is op bedrijven die op jouw zender willen adverteren, wat weer voor meer inkomsten zorgt. Dit zorgt er op een gegeven moment voor dat informatief nieuws vervangen wordt door nieuws wat meer kijkcijfers trekt. De hele vorm van het presenteren van nieuws is de afgelopen jaren verandert in sensatie en materialistisch nieuws. Mensen worden behoeften aangepraat en de media heeft de macht om mensen massaal te beïnvloeden. Neem daarbij het feit dat als grote bedrijven willen adverteren bij jou, maar jouw vorm van nieuws en programma’s niet volgens de ideeën van het bedrijf zijn, dan gaan de bedrijven naar een andere zenders (mediacorporaties) gaan met hun advertenties. (bijvoorbeeld: als het nieuws te eerlijk gebracht wordt, niet pro-economie of pro-privatisering, te weinig geld, materialisme en individu gericht..) Dit klinkt misschien een beetje far fetched, maar het hoofddoel van de mediacorporaties is zoveel mogelijk winst maken en niet zo objectief mogelijk nieuws brengen en het volk zo goed mogelijk informeren. Het hoofddoel van die bedrijven is precies hetzelfde en ze hebben reclame nodig om de massa (het volk) te bereiken. Trek dit heel ver door met de gedachte dat de grote bedrijven ook deels invloed hebben in de regering en dat de regering er alles aan doet om de economie van een land goed te houden, dan zie je dat alle partijen gelijke belangen hebben. Natuurlijk zitten er ook heel veel tegenstrijdige belangen bij de partijen die ik niet zo 1,2,3 kan uitleggen in deze stelling, maar geld en macht overheerst in veel gevallen.

Orwell Rolls in His Grave
Orwell ook wel bekend van het boek 1984 uitgebracht in 1948, dat later in 1984 verfilmd is, staat bekend om zijn theorieën van big brother en waarschuwde door middel van zijn boeken dat Big Brother en de corporations de wereld zouden overnemen en de massa zouden brainwashen om ze als werkers te gebruiken. Het indoctrineren van mensen en het overspoelen van propaganda en leugens werd hierbij gebruikt om de massa onder controle te houden. Aan de gevestigde orde twijfelen en voor jezelf nadenken werd gezien als thought crime en zwaar gestraft.
Nu lijkt dit allemaal maar science fiction en onmogelijk, maar met deze documentaire willen de makers aantonen dat we hard naar zo’n toekomst op weg zijn, vandaar ook deze titel.

Outfoxed – Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism
Een documentaire over Rupert Murdoch’s media-empire en zijn propaganda methoden die gebruikt worden om het nieuws altijd van 1 kant te brengen. Deze documentaire gaat vooral over FOX tv en de presentator Bill O'Reilly waarbij veel origineel nieuwsmateriaal getoond wordt om te bewijzen dat het nieuws niet “Fair and Balanced” is zoals geclaimed wordt door de zender. Erg indrukwekkende stukken af en toe en ongelofelijk dat mensen hier naar kunnen kijken en zeggen dat het nieuws is.

Nog een documentaire die gaat over de onafhankelijkheid van de media in de V.S.
Hier wordt in twijfel gebracht of de liberale media wel zo liberaal is en worden weer de banden met de grote bedrijven en elite gelegd. Dat de media de regering in alles steunt en bijna nooit vragen stelt, waarbij het af en toe zo erg is dat ze alle propaganda van de regering geloven of de waarheid zo verdraaien dat gebeurtenissen in de geschiedenis voor het gemak vergeten of weg gelaten worden.

Hier komt veelal weer hetzelfde naar boven als bij de voorgaande posts alleen gaan we hier nog dieper in op de regering en de connecties met de grote bedrijven. Hierbij wordt onder andere aangetoond dat de regeringen een eigen agenda hebben en dat de economie van een land boven de welvaart van de bevolking wordt gekozen. Dat een aantal grote bedrijven en regeringsdelen corrupt zijn. Dat de C.I.A. bijna sinds de oprichting voor het grootste deel van de drugssmokkel in de V.S. zorgt. Dat er wereldstrategische plannen zitten achter de oorlogen en ingrijpen in landen door de V.S.

In de documentaire/lezing van Michael Ruppert probeert hij d.m.v. overheidsdocumenten, mediarapportages en uitspraken te bewijzen dat het gewone volk dom gehouden wordt en nooit de hele waarheid te horen krijgt. Van de Federal Reserve en Wall Street tot de CIA en drugssmokkel, van JFK tot 9-11. Deze documentaire over Henry Kissinger is gebasseerd op het boek van de journalist Christopher Hitchens. Hij vindt dat Kissinger een oorlogszuchtige en op macht bel , die verantwoordelijk is voor grote millitaire cover-ups in Vietnam, Cambodia, East Timor in de jaren 60’ en ook verantwoordelijk was voor de moord op de chileense leider Salvador Allende in 1970. Ik snap dat deze post niet standaard is voor politiek, maar dit heeft wel degelijk veel met politiek te maken en een klein beetje truth. Ik heb geprobeert zoveel mogelijk bij de "feiten" te blijven en er een informatieve post van te maken.

IK wil het hier voor een keer nog wel even hebben over het waarom van dit topic en de manier waarop het is gemaakt.
Mijn bedoeling met deze post was het onderzoeken wie nou werkelijk de touwtjes in handen heeft in de wereld en hoe de machtsverdeling werkt. Ik heb hier heel veel "officiële" bronnen voor gebruikt en heb mijn bevindingen hier gepost om repliek van mensen te krijgen die hier ook in geïnteresseerd zijn.
Ik wil niet zover gaan als Baaj dat alles wat hier gepresenteerd is 100% de waarheid is, maar dit is gewoon een analyse van de machtsstructuur in de wereld, nog zonder hele rare samenzweringstheorieën. Dus ik zou zeggen geef het een kans en denk er eens over na, iets afdoen als onzin kan altijd nog. Ik hoop dat het topic nu inhoudelijk door kan gaan zonder verwijten en aanvallen over en weer.
Ik raad trouwens iedereen aan om het filmpje van de Federal Reserve en Michael Ruppert te bekijken. (Al was het maar om ergens te beginnen)

Het punt staat in de eerste post. De rest is allemaal informatie en onderbouwing. Omdat deze onderwerpen naar mijn mening allemaal bij elkaar horen om het grote plaatje te laten zien is het niet simpel samen te vatten. Daarom heb ik ervoor gekozen om alle informatie aan het begin van het topic te plaatsen in plaats van door het hele topic bronnen aan te halen, wat het onoverzichtelijk maakt een constant welles, nietes situatie creëert. Het is helaas nooit goed wat je doet, maar ik vraag de mensen eens over hun barrière heen te stappen die het zo moeilijk maakt hier inhoudelijk op te reageren. Het is niet de bedoeling dat het een betoog is, ik plaats stellingen, daar wil ik graag over discussiëren. Dat iedereen tot dezelfde conclusie zou moeten komen na het lezen van dit stukje is nog grotere onzin. Je denkt toch zeker zelf na? Dit topic is juist zo open opgezet om zelf na te denken en actief mee te doen en uiteindelijk je eigen conclusies te trekken. Ik wil toch zeker niemand een mening opleggen.

Je kunt dus in de mooiste samenzweringstheorieën "trappen", die op den duur de hele geschiedenis omvatten, maar je hebt er nooit een ander bewijs voor dan dubieuze aanwijzingen. Zoveel wilde Umberto Eco ook vaststellen ahv De Slinger van Foucault.
- Neemt niet weg dat het gedachtegoed over een "elite" die de onmondige massa's besturen weldegelijk bij sommige individuen of bepaalde genootschappen idd een uitgesproken doel is. Zie topic over neo-conservatieven in WFL.
- Neemt ook niet weg dat de VS idd in de greep is van de special interests van corporate industry. Gewoonlijk krijgen zowel democraten als republikeinen donaties van corporate industry. Hierdoor maakt het eigenlijk ook niet uit welke partij je kiest in de VS. Veel met kapitalisme en democratie, zoals het bedoeld is, heeft het ook allemaal niet meer te maken in de VS.
