U2 gaat weer op tournee in 2005!

k zet mij geld op de Goffertweide in Nijmegen

Mojo heeft met de gemeente nijmegen een deal voor 3 grote evenemten/concerten op de goffertweide ivm met 2000 jaar Nijmegen......... Fields of Rock is 1, maar de andere 2 werden nog even geheim gehouden. Ik zie een kansje!

Is het makkelijk om aan kaarten te komen voor een concert in het buitenland, zonder credit card?

Alleen is dat het enige gerucht dat ik tegengekomen ben. De anderen geruchten over U2 concerten gaan over concerten in de Kuip in Juli, maar vooral de concerten in Amsterdam.

Ik ben nu ook U2 member, maar ik betwijfel of dat met die kaartverkoop goed zal verlopen.

They usually offer 3 packages: platinum, gold, and bronze. You are not given exact seat locations (only approximations), platinum tickets are will call only, gold and bronze are sent to you 1 week before the show. 9 times out of 10 fanfire charges more for these tickets. Also whenever there is a lot of traffic at their site it freezes and people have a hard time getting through. I spoke to a person at fanfire about 3 - 4 weeks ago and she confirmed that they will be doing the U2 preslaes but would give me no details. I just give you the above in regard to how they have dealt with other artists. If, when, and how they proceed with U2 remains to be seen. Yet, I envision no easy way to get tickets, especially since so many members will be hammering the site once the ticks go on sale."

Oh nee, Werchter is in juli. In juni heb ik examens. Nee, dan kan ik helemaal niet naar U2. .

Hoe dan ook, een U2 concert ga ik dit jaar niet missen.

The band, which is nominated for three Grammys for the single "Vertigo," still intends to play the February 13th awards ceremony in Los Angeles and to attend its induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 14th in New York. However, a new timeline for the tour has not been set.

According to longtime tour designer Willie Williams, the tour's stage and video screens are in the process of being built. "We are developing some new technologies to deliver visual content," he told Rolling Stone.

U2's last world tour, in support of All That You Can't Leave Behind, made them the top-grossing act of 2001.
