Het lijkt er op dat je enigszins verbaasd bent dat niemand ooit van Vic Damone heeft gehoord - maar je moet altijd een beetje uitkijken met minder bekende artiesten. Er blijft namelijk altijd een serieuze kans dat tenzij een zeldzame liefhebber het topic in komt walsen, niemand ooit op het antwoord zou kunnen komen.
Probeer in ieder geval vragen te stellen over artiesten die wel iets van een algemene bekendheid hebben, of waarvan je dat eventueel kunt verwachten (omdat ze een paar jaar terug gigantisch gehypt werden of iets dergelijks); zodat er in ieder geval nog een redelijke mogelijkheid is dat iemand de vraag zou kunnen oplossen. Persoonlijk bedenk ik sowieso mijn vragen altijd vanuit het principe "zou iemand dit eigenlijk wel kunnen weten?" in plaats van het "hoe moeilijker, hoe beter" perspectief.
Zo zal ik bijvoorbeeld van pakweg de helft van de artiesten waarvan ik CD's in de kast heb staan nooit vragen durven te stellen, omdat ik toch weet dat hooguit 2, 3 man naar mijn weten op Fok! het antwoord misschien zou kunnen weten - en dan is het nog maar de vraag of die mensen toevallig die vraag hier in trivia onder ogen krijgen.
Bekendheid van bepaalde artiesten is soms wat moeilijk in te schatten, en in dit geval heb je Vic Damone's bekendheid een beetje overschat, denk ik.
