The Crimean Discourse initiative has learned of school students in Russian-occupied Crimea having their end-of-year grades reduced because they did not write letters ‘thanking’ the soldiers fighting Russia’s war against Ukraine. In at least three cases, they report, teachers openly told the students why they were being so penalized.

It is impossible to independently verify such information as the students or their parents would be in danger if their names were published, and the teachers would clearly deny any link. Such reprisals would, however, be typical given the measures used since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine to force Ukrainian children on occupied territory to ‘thank’ the soldiers killing other Ukrainians.

Donors are preparing to transfer refurbished British FV432 armored personnel carriers to the Territorial Defense Brigade.

Volunteer Serhii Prytula reported that there are two more FV432s that they purchased thanks to the Foundation’s partners.

The armored vehicles are currently being restored in a workshop. Then, the FV432 APCs will be transferred to the 114th Territorial Defense Brigade.

At one time, FV432s were the most common armored vehicle used to transport British infantry.

The APC can be called the British equivalent of the American M113 armored personnel carrier.

Masters from the Na Chasi (On Time – ed.) charitable organization reported on this.

The task of the military equipment mock-ups is to mislead the enemy and force them to spend as many missiles and ammunition as possible to destroy false targets.

The Foundation presented a wide range of mock-ups made for the military.

The Hetman Ivan Mazepa corvette (F211), currently under construction for the Ukrainian Navy in Turkey, is 70% complete.

Volodymyr Uhlinsky, the ship’s captain, shared this in an interview with TSN.Tyzhden.

According to him, the future flagship of the Ukrainian Navy is being built ahead of schedule. Equipment and weapons are currently being installed on it.

“The Hetman Ivan Mazepa corvette is very modern, and the capabilities of this corvette far exceed those of the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate,” Uhlinsky says.

The new corvette does not yet have an anti-ship missile system. The captain explains this: “The corvette will be able to hit targets at a distance between 180 and 240 kilometers.”

“That business is the exchange of information that the asset or agent would provide for something that they want,” said David McCloskey, former CIA officer and author of Moscow X. “We want people who have some sense of what [Russian] leaders’ priorities are – what they’re trying to accomplish.”

The ongoing recruitment effort is far from a state secret. The CIA has released Russian-language videos on social media appealing to the patriotism of disaffected Russians with access to information that could be helpful to the US.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on the deployment point of the 200th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.

This was reported by the Telegram channel Dosye Shpyona.

It is reported that the fire damage was inflicted on June 1, 2024, at about 9 a.m. on the territory of the Knauf plant in the temporarily occupied Soledar, in the Donetsk region.

As a result of the strike, four invaders from the tank and repair companies died, with seven more Russians from a repair company and military police injured.

The latest Russian 2S43 Malva 152mm self-propelled gun was spotted on the battlefield for the first time.

The corresponding photo was released by Kriegsforscher, the Marine and OSINT researcher, on his X page.

It is reported that Malva, which belongs to the 9th Artillery Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, was discovered by a long-range reconnaissance drone in the Belgorod oblast.

Recall that the Russian army received the first batch of these self-propelled guns in October 2023, and earlier, in July, Malva completed a three-year cycle of state tests.

Zelenskyy also stressed the need to distinguish between the two periods and “not to mix them into one.”

Earlier in the day, he met with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on the sidelines of the summit to discuss Ukraine's immediate defense needs, enhancement of its air defense systems, cooperation within the F-16 coalition, and the drafting of a new bilateral security agreement.

The Ukrainian President arrived in Singapore on June 1, where he is scheduled to meet with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, as well as East Timorese President Jose Ramos-Horta.

Zelenskyy arrived in Singapore from Sweden, where he attended the third Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit and signed a bilateral security agreement with Norway.
