TomᨠKopečný is a Czech defence expert and government official, one of those responsible for relations with Ukraine. His official position is the Governmental Envoy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. However, Kopečný is currently more focused on what is a prerequisite for Ukraine's reconstruction – its victory in the war against Russia. Specifically, supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for this victory.
He worked at the Defence Ministry as the Deputy Minister for Defence Cooperation until the end of 2022. Under his leadership, the Defence Ministry developed the weapon procurement scheme for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which has become known as the "Czech Initiative".
We met in Prague before the start of the NATO ministerial meeting. Kopečný spoke with a small circle of journalists for the first time about how the Czech Initiative came to life and how it had operated secretly since early 2022, when most Western countries were afraid to send weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Kyiv Post sources in the Ukrainian Special Service (SBU) reported that, on the night of May 29-30, “the Russians lost one Nebo-SVU long-range radar detection system worth about $100 million,” which monitored a 380 kilometer section of the front.
According to the sources, it was hit by drones developed by SBU military counterintelligence. This radar system near Armyansk monitored a section of the front, ensuring the protection of enemy targets in Crimea. Additionally, ATACMS targeted the ferry crossing in Crimea, which Kremlin forces were using as a logistics facility.

Net zoals het vrijmaken van geld in het budget van een land ook tijd en moeite kost. Daar budgetten vaak vastgesteld worden voor een jaar en er weinig speelruimte mogelijk is.
Gelukkig zijn wij hier redelijk flexibel in gebleken in de laatste 2 jaar. Al ben ik niet zo bekend met het defensiebudget/buitenlandse zaken budget/welk budget wij hier ook maar voor gebruiken.
Zal wel misschien ook wel deels van het ontwikkelingspotje daarnaar toe gaan? Aangezien wij niet alleen maar wapens leveren maar ook hulpgoederenquote:

Zaporizhzhia's Dnipro Hydroelectric Station, Ukraine's largest hydroelectric power plant, is in critical condition after Russian forces struck it overnight on June 1, Zaporizhzhia Oblast Governor Ivan Fedorov said on national television.
He said the power plant, known as the Dnipro Dam, halted electricity production.
“Currently, the Dnipro Hydroelectric Station is in a critical condition. We are not even talking about electricity generation,” Fedorov said.
Traffic across the Dnipro Dam was blocked following the Russian attack, “so residents are limited in traffic,” according to the official.
“Two bridges are being used for detour, with logistics in both directions. This will be the case for the weekend,” Fedorov said.
