He has competed in several NASCAR Cup series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Euro events, including a near win in the 2012 Xfinity Race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, a track named after his late father. Hezemans meanwhile, is a NASCAR Euro champion, who has been dominant on the road courses this season. He has also made several Xfinity starts himself, in efforts supported by RBR.

The plan is for Hezemans to compete in all road course races and possibly some short tracks.
For next week's Next Gen test at Charlotte, Hezemans will drive Monday and Villeneuve on Tuesday.

Ik ben heel benieuwd hoe dat gaat, hij heeft nog nauwelijks ervaring in de Xfinity Series, het is nog wel een ding om dan fatsoenlijk mee te doen in de Cup Series natuurlijk....
