And thus the Littlest Desk’s heart swelled—for yes, even desks have hearts—when two White House staffers, side by side, carried him through the hallowed halls of that great building.
And the Littlest Desk saw in wonderment all the portraits of great Presidents past—Washington...Lincoln...Roosevelt...—until at long last they brought the Littlest Desk into the room where he was to be the star of the show.
And it was only then that the Littlest Desk understood the both the purpose and the man who he had been so valiantly called upon to serve.
“Wait, you mean I have to be Donald Trump’s desk?” the Littlest Desk exclaimed in utter repulsion. “What the ever-living fuck is this goddamned shit about?”
